I am from South Africa and married to a Finnish Citizen. Last year we got engaged in Finland when I went to meet his family, I had no problems getting my Schengen Visa. But when I came back to South Africa and applied for my next Schengen visa so that I can visit my Fiance again after he comes back from working in the US for two months at a time. They declined my application because I was honest to say I was engaged and my return date on my flight was accidentally over the 90 day period of what you are allowed to stay in Schengen territory. So I changed my date on the return flight but they refused the visa and said they don't know if I would return to my country.

Now about 6 months on and I am almost 4 months married, I would like to go and visit my husband and the family. He works in the US for 2 months on and 2 months off and when he is at home he works on the family farm and have a snow truck business in the winter, so it is difficult for him to come to South Africa all the time.

I am quite scared and nervous now to apply for my Schengen visa, scared that they will just refuse it again without really considering it. I don't really have a permanent job just helping out at a friend's business part time. How can I make my case stronger and convince the embassy to approve my visa please.

I married a guy from Finland, and he needed a permission letter to get married here in south africa. From the date the letter is issued it is four months valid. So we had to get married within those four months. My question is do we have to have the unabridged marriage certificate registered and apostilled in that four months as well? Because we have six weeks left before the date on the letter expire and we are still waiting for the marriage certificate. After I get the certificate I need to go to a high court and apostille it and then send it to Finland to get it registered there for it to be recognized. by Finland.

I bought long life cream and on the bottle it said you can use it for whip cream, but it just gets a bit thick and that's it. Does anyone know if you can put something in it to help it stiffen or not?

I want to use the chicken in a stew form because I am making a curry. This is the only chicken left in the freezer, cause usually I use chicken pieces and debone them. Don't like chicken breasts but it will have to do for today.

Me and my fiance have been a couple for a little more than a year now. He is from Finland and me from South Africa. For the residence permit you have to be living together and being a couple for two years. But we have been working on ships together and how do you prove you have been a couple then. We live in two different countries, how do they think we were able to live together?

I would really appreciate if someone can please explain the different names and the flours for me that you get here in Finland. I am from South Africa and a lot of our baking recipes use Self Raising Flour in it. But so far I had just nothing but trouble to identify the different flours here. And when I asked someone at the supermarket they had no idea what I was talking about.

a Few months ago my hair started to fall out a lot, I was going through a very stressful time at that point. But things calmed downed. I am using anti hair fall shampoo and conditioner for almost two months, it went better for a while. My hair was still falling out but not that much anymore, it looked healthier again. But suddenly now it started up again. This morning in the shower there were a lot if hair again. Please I would really appreciate some advice :)

I sometimes get these strange dreams where it feels like something is jumping on you or holding you so that you can not move. I cannot move and cannot open my eyes. One time is was on my arm and shoulder when I was lying on my side and the other night it was on my neck.

I already had a UK working holiday visa about 3 years ago. I am working on a cruise ship at the moment for a UK based company. I would like to go back and work in the UK again and make it more permanent. Or is there another visa that I can apply for?

Can somebody please help me. I have this argument with someone that Hake and Haddock are two different type of fish. I found out they are both family from the cod and in the dictionary they say it is two different fishes. But this person keeps on arguing that it is the same fish.

I have a one year old nephew and he has trouble sleeping through the night. My cousin has tried everything and she doesn't know what to do anymore. He keeps her up every night, she gets maybe 3 -4 hours of sleep a night. She is going to take him to the Doctor again, but the first time she took him they said it was normal. But this definitely is not normal anymore. Please any advice is welcome.
