My employer (current boss) has been retaliating against me and harassing me for the past 8 months at my grocery store for filing a discrimination and harassment claim within the company. This current manager got transferred to our store and I soon realized he had power/control issues. Before he was transferred, I never had any issue with previous managers about anything. My job was pleasant and bearable. Then he came and all of the sudden, after discussing the issues we had, my working hours started to change dramatically. First, I noticed that my working hours were changing to different times of every day every single week. Then, I noticed that my duties and responsibilities were also changing. And recently (no more than 3 months ago) my working hours have been reduced on top of that. The schedule is given out weekly just before each weekend. I feel that work is now unbearable for me and has been for the past 8 months. We have a Union and have informed them about my concerns and issues but nothing has been done. My representative does not even respond anymore. I have been with the company for 6 years with part-time status which by Union contract are guaranteed 24 hours of work every week with seniority basis.

Before all of this happened I was being scheduled 32 hours every week with 8-hour shifts. Now, I am lucky get 29 hours and on top of that he is spreading those hours, whether it be 24 or 29, over five days instead of 3 8-hour shifts. I have brought my schedule to his attention many times also because I commute 25 miles to work each way for 4-hour shifts. And he is now giving more hours to other part-time employees with less seniority and with better schedules where they get 3 consecutive 8-hours shifts to complete their 24 hours which by the way is against our Union contract.

It started when he decided that to pick on me about my facial hair. Our company policy stated that males are allowed to have a beard/mustache as long as it's not over exaggerated and kept neat/clean. His issue was that I need either needed to be clean-shaven every single day or have a beard every single day. (Something that company policy never mentions.) What led me to file a claim was, that up until then, every time I would work he would ask me if I had shaved or say something about me being clean shaven. He would also make comments about my facial hair to me or when we were in a group with other co-workers. One day he even suggested that I shave myself with a box cutter blade. The harassment went further when he literally checked my neck within a foot of my face for any stubs when I was clean-shaven. He attempted to give me a write-up which I never signed and a week later he sent me home on a Saturday morning on HR's orders as he put it to shave. One can obviously tell why I felt harassed. I felt he was being discriminate towards me because he would never say anything to other co-workers about their facial hair even though I had it the same as theirs.I am 28, light-skin hispanic with dark hair color.

I am not the only one he is doing this to regarding their schedules. He is also doing this to a select few employees that have filed claims against him and others that he has had problems with. I still feel harassed and retaliated against because of the way he has been scheduling me and not other with less seniority. Besides the fact that he has control issues, I also feel that our company as a whole is allowing their managers to treat their higher paid employees this way because the company wants to go in a different direction and want to eliminate our benefits and is letting managers "manage out" as many as possible. I am contemplating filing a claim with EEOC against my employer and my Union. Are there any other options I have? I have been looking for other jobs in the mean time and I am not planning to quit.

I recently filed an injury report at work for lower back pain and needed to see the doctor. I didn't go see a company doctor until about a week later when the pain got worse. I went to the company doctor and was diagnosed with a Lumbar sprain/strain 847.9. The doctor told me that the injury would heal by itself and told me to keep active to heal the injury faster but he placed me on limited duties at work. I asked if i could play sports since i play soccer and run to help with it and he advised to only run. Now, i haven't played soccer in over 3 months since i sprained my ankle so the back injury was not due to me playing soccer (for those of you thinking im lying), the back injury happened at work. I am ready to play soccer again but don't know if i will be followed or investigated by the Insurance company to see if im lying. Do insurance companies do that? Will they follow me and investigate to see if im lying??????

-I'm on limited duty to bending/lifting/pushing up to 20lbs but i can still work

-I work for a grocery store as a Grocery Clerk which requires lifting heavy items frequently.

-Insurance company for workers comp has already contact me regarding the injury.

-I'm not receiving any other benefits such as disability or collecting money due to the injury

The car has 156k miles on it. About 4 months ago is started to notice that my car was shaking a bit when stopped at a light. I also noticed that it wanted to stall or lose power when trying to accelerate from a stop position. Then the car wouldn't start on as quick or sometimes won't start on the first try, in other words it hesitates to turn on sometimes not all the time.

The car runs fine at highway speeds. It doesn't jerk or anything like that when driving normal. It has never stall on me when stopped or driving.......(hopefully i don't jinx it). I maintain my car every year with the proper parts and all. So can anyone help me diagnose this problem?????

I have a 36 gallon bowfront tank with few real plants and some community fish. I dont know which bulb to buy to make my plants grow.........Life-Glo 2, Aqua-Glo, Flora-Glo, or Power-Glo??????????? Which one is best suited for my tank and why??????

I know you are supposed to stir the sand to release trapped gases but i dont know how often is should do it.

I have rigid hornwort, java fern, and anacharis. The hornwort is reaching the top of my aquarium and i need to trim it how do i do this without killing the plant? Should i just cut the tops off or start from the roots?

I have a 20gal aquarium with about 15 fish....guppies, platys and loaches. I just bought a new 36 bowfront aquarium and was wondering

........if to transfer all the contents of the 20gal (gravel, acces, fish, filters, old water) to the 36gal right away or wait to add the fish but add the rest of the contents right away to cycle it faster?

.......... Also, would it be alright if i place this new 36gal aquarium in an upstairs room?..... meaning weight issues

........... How long will it take to cycle if i add all contents to new aquarium except fish????

I bought the WD my passport elite hardrive and Im having trouble playing iTunes songs from the hardrive.

I moved all my current itunes music library to the WD hardrive. I then uninstalled itunes from my pc and deleted the itunes library. I installed itunes straight to the WD hardrive but it also installs in my pc back again. I then moved all of my music to itunes, which is installed in WD hardrive, but the all of my music gets copied automatically to my pc again.

Im trying to install itunes and move all of my music to the WD hardrive without getting copied back to my pc again but it seems to do this everytime. How do i install itunes only in my hardrive and play all of my music from it without being copied back into my pc again??????? I want all my music library stored and able to play straight from the WD hardrive!!!!!!

Tank is a 20g with gravel.

1 live plant with with moss ball, moss and aquarium wood.

2 filters (Aqueon 20 and Aquaclear 50) and 1 powerhead.

Inhabitants include a bunch of guppies, 1 bristlenose pleco, 1 angelicus loach, and 1 zebra loach. Total of more than 15 fish!!!!!

I've had this setup for about 9 months now and have been wanting to change the substrate to sand. Where and what kind should i get and how should i change it??? Can i just go to the river and get some sand from there????? Will the sand be suitable for all the fish ( Im most concerned about the loaches and the pleco, they're my babies)???????

Ok, so i've noticed since when i was kid i keep hearing an owl screeching when walking at night at different places. I usually hear it when walking to or from my car, my house, and when i'm in my room or just walking at night. Sometimes is just one screech and sometimes is two, but i always hear them at night. Sometimes i even see them, mostly when i'm driving. I know that the owls that screech at me are white owls. Im just kind of curious to why I always hear them screech at me. Im already used to it but why does it happen. I know that owls are considered an omen in many cultures especially white owls. And I know that white owls are mysterious. So why do I always hear them? Im beginning to think that there is some kind of message or purpose behind it all. Even when I was a kid about 5 years old. I remember seen two white owls flying around the full moon's halo, the same as vultures do during the day when theres a dead animal. I asked my mom what they were and she told me they were white owls and that they usually fly around the moon when it's a full moon. But since then that's like the weird thing that kind of puzzles me. What does all of this mean?????????

So I have a 69 chevy stepside and the transmission won't shift into park. All the other gears work. It has a b&m shifter. What could be wrong with it and how much would it cost me to repair it?

How much would it cost me to replace/repair it? And how hard it will be to fix it by myself if possible? The tranny is in a 69 chevy truck and has a b&m shift kit. It is also rebuild.

So I already tried to remove the broken stud. I took off everything all the way to the rotor. My brother and I tried to hammer it out but the lug doesnt have enough space for it to come off since it hits the wheel and bearing assembly. The broken stud is on the front passengers side. We tried to hammer it out but with no success since it hits the wheel assembly. Is it really this difficult to remove a broken stud? Do I have to remove the whole wheel and bearing assembly to remove the stud? Can someone tell me how to remove the lug? Or are there any videos of how to do it?

I owe about 2500 on one of their credit cards. The bank is now asking for the full amount to be paid. Will anything happen to my parents if I just keep avoiding it???

I have a 20 gal. tank with 5 mollies, 5 Guppies, 3 loaches, 5 shrimp and a snail. I know mollies need salt but i haven't added any because i dont want to harm the loaches. Do you think that i can add salt to my aquarium without harming the loaches and shrimp. If so how much salt???

The aquarium is 20 gal. I would like to add a DIY CO2 for the plants that i have. I have a fern that I bought at Petco and star moss and weeping moss.

My concers with the DIY CO2 are if it will stress the fish in any way. I've been researching and found out that the DIY CO2 doesnt need to be all the time, it needs to be turned off at night when plants produce the CO2. Will leaving the CO2 24/7 stress the fish??? Im worried that the fish will start suffocating if I leave it on all the time especially at night. The DIY CO2 is a 1 liter bottle.

My tank is a bit overcrowded. I have 5 small mollies, 5 guppies, 3 loaches (not clown loaches), 5 small shrimp and 1 snail. The lighting is a standard flourescent light bulb that comes with the 20 gal. kits i keep it on only 12 hours.

Will it be safe to add the CO2 without stressing the fish????

I work at a Grocery store and sometimes this song comes up. It sounds from the 70's era. Only words I know are something like this........."stop, drop, do it again..." then guitars play in background and then on to "stop, drop, do it again...." Sounds like 70's rock with some kind of funky guitar music. Like Santana's music style. I've tried iTunes and the web but with no luck. I even ask people at work and dont know it!!! It's driving me crazy. Someone please help me try to find this song's title!!!!

I've been cycling a new 20 gal. tank for over a month now. I have small 2 loaches and 3 silver mollies. The temp. is at 83 degrees. My ammonia levels have been at around 1ppm for over 3 weeks now and it doesn't seem to convert to nitrites. I am getting desperate. I have stopped doing water changes and been overfeeding the fish hoping that bacteria turns to nitrites but no luck. Lights are on 12 hours. Despite all of this the fish seem fine and no signs of stress. The only thing I see going on is that brown algae or diatoms are developing in my aquarium. Anybody have any suggestions why ammonia wont turn into nitrites. It's been really long with the same ammonia levels in aquarium and nothing seems to happen.
