Can you tell me what kind of plant this is?

It is growing in dry, sunny climate in Roswell, NM, and is about 2-3 feet tall (but may grow taller).

I submitted this question earlier but was unable to upload a picture at that point, so I'm trying again.

  • Can someone recommend a dive shop in Tulum, Mexico?

A group of about 8-10 divers is planning a trip to Tulum on the Mayan Riviera. Does anyone have any wonderful (or awful) experiences with dive shops in Tulum? We're interested in both reef and cenote diving.

    Thanks!

  • Can you recommend a good bank in New Zealand?

We're looking to buy a small retirement property in New Zealand and figure we'll be setting up a bank account there to handle some expenses. I have no idea which banks provide a good exchange rate, interest rate, etc., and would love some opinions.

  • Why did Lisa Nowak wear diapers? What kind of car can drive 900 miles on one tank?

Navy CAPT Lisa Nowak drove across the country to confront her secret boyfriend's other girlfriend. She wore astronaut-diapers so she would not have to stop at a bathroom. Why not just pee when she got gas? It's 900 miles! (inquiring minds and all that...)

Does this take astronauts down a click or what?

Secondary question: Were Nowak and her secret boyfriend ever on the shuttle at the same time, and if so, we all know what question is foremost on our minds about THAT trip!

  • What do I do with leftover fresh herbs?

Example: recipe I'm making tonight calls for 8 leaves fresh sage. I buy a box of fresh sage at the grocery story for $1.69. It must have 100 leaves. Is there a way to store/freeze/dry the rest so that I can use it later?

Other herbs of high interest: thyme, rosemary, mint

Any advice would be much appreciated!

  • How, mathematically, is it possible for Richard to be the leader in Yahoo Answers?

OK, he's been a member for a year.

    He has 220,000 points.

he has answered about 6000 questions, with best answers for about half of them (which is impressive). That's 12*3000+2*3000, or about 50,000 points.

He has not asked too many questions

Say he logs in every day. That's 365 points, so now he has 50,365 points, approximately.

Say he votes for 100 best answers a day. That's another 40,000 points. Maybe that makes 100,000 points.

Where did the other 212,000 points come from?

I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble here, but I'm kind of obsessed.

  • Has your addiction to Yahoo Answers replaced any other addictions?

I used to spend any spare 10 minutes with a sudoku game until 2 weeks ago when I discovered Yahoo answers. Now I can answer 2-3 questions instead! And I'm actually learning something other than pattern recognition!

  • Scuba Diving in Cozumel Post-hurricane?

The last time I dove in Cozumel, it was spectacular, but hurricane Emily came through since then. Has anyone been diving in Cozumel in the last year? Can you tell me how the reefs are?

    Thanks!

  • Looking for the name of a really old Science Fiction movie?

Something was attacking the earth. People would be killed and then turn into zombies of some sort. Several zombies were captured and put into a lab for testing. By accident, someone made a really loud noise and one of the zombies died, so the live humans decided they could kill them all, but then all the live humans would be deaf. But somehow they prevailed. I am pretty sure it was black and white, and maybe made in the 60s. ANy ideas?

  • What happens to cage-free hens after they are no longer useful?

I heard on the radio today that egg-laying hens are killed in a variety of horible-sounding ways after they are too old to lay eggs. I have been buying cage-free eggs for a while, hoping that the hens that lay these eggs are happier than regular hens. Does anyone know if their "retirement" is any better than average?
