So I started this diet a week ago. Nothing from a book or magazine or online. Just something an acquaintance recommended. The diet[ which after a while I figure it could be Atkins's] goes like this.

1. NO breads, pastas, rice, starches, fruit..etc.

So... i have been following the diet- cheated once- Anyway, I figure this was not really the Atkin's because I do not limit vegetables at all. I have eggplant, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, green beans etc. Plus every morning I have a cup of fat free milk. And for the last day or two I have been nuts for nuts-peanuts.

Now I am totally confused on the type of diet that i am on and whether or not this is healthy. Today I have completed a week since I started and I lost 6.88pounds. Now, thats why I became a bit concern about the routine I follow. I am more interested in losing fat and keeping it off, than loosing all water and gaining the weight back in a week.

This is my usual day:

Breakfast: 3 scrambled eggs- in little olive oil-[a like a pinch of cheese]

Snack/Lunch: A can of tuna, yougurt, peanuts...

Dinner: A semi-big amount of meat like chiken breast or turkey of red meat- cooked very little fat. and vegs. gallore as a side.

During the day I have like 8-12 glasses of water and I excersise 30 min almost daily.

*Guys help me out here. Am I doing this wrong? ANy recommendations? [ i dont really feel sick or anything] What kinda diet is this[ low fat low carb]? HELP ME!!!!!!!!!

to start off i want to say that this maybe a bit of a long question. so sit tight and enjoy this 3-4 minute ride. so, i bet many if not all of you have heard about WFU huge change (no longer requiring act/sat scores). this is being all done in order to raise the diversity of the school. which over 80% is white, rich, and arrogant(i added that, no offense..lol). i have done quite the research on this school(well sort of). And that is the vibe that i have gotten from many reviews written by students and alumni. I am from NJ and a move to NC will be very scary. But that is not the point now. The point is that the school(at the moment) is looking to diversify the itself. Which translates to great opportunities for minorities(me).I have had the opportunity to read many articles about minorities being offered huge amounts of money to go to college and else. and some people feel it is an offense to the person accepting the money because it is being rewarded solely on the color of skin. Now when i look at it from that view i feel a bit "put down" but nonethless an "almost-free" or free education is a great gift. i am a male/immigrant(5 yrs in us)/hispanic. With splendid grades 4.0+ great ranking(only hispanis top 10) gpa, extracurriculars and AP and honors courseload. At the moment I feel that i could very likely be accepted to WFU. Especially with the option of no sat/act which i bombed. So in the case that i apply to this school and become accepted. should i go there? i will only go to WFU if the financial aid is very favorable. but there is a down to this. i am 100% sure that i would not "fit-in" i am not liberal but closer to it than close minded. my skin color and thick accent will defenately set me apart from the rest of the white-preppy crowd. i don't really mind being an outcast. but it can get lonely. especially if you are hours away from home. so what should i do? apply(even thought many n many more students will be applaying now that sat are not reuired). or should i look for a school that i will fit in more even thought the bill will most likely be higher. and should i continue to seek for schools in desperate need of diversity so i can get the money-even if im setting myself for OUTCAST.

ok so i have to read pride and prejudice for school for my ap class...but i really don't have the time to read because i have been studying for the ACT'S. plus is extremely boring. i got to chapter 14 and cant take one more minute of it.so i have read alot about the BBC 1995 version of the novel which is 5 hours long... something i do not mind as long i get the book in a movie. so.... i want to ask you all what do you think about the BBC version. if you read the novel what is different and would you recommend the BBC version. and if i do watch the movie will i be well of????

p.s no bs with the whole reading the book is a must. no time here!

ok si i am planning to double major in journalism and communications at rutger s NB. But i a m not sure about something. when do you apply to the program? because it doesnt seem to be when you enter your freshman year. also, can i doublemajor in these two in the same campus. for some reason the site says that journalism can be paired with another major aslong as it is inanother campus. now i know that they have journalism in newark and new brunswich, but they only have comm. at new brunswick. why would i want to do it in separate schools if one offers both. also does that mean that i am suppose to apply to both newark and Nb when i get out of high school or should i wait until sophomore year and apply to newark and nb...omg im confuse myself but you get right? what school do i aaply to and cani do it both majors at one school. also how does the double major work. two degrees one diploma?????

Ok so i am interested in Rutgers(the state university of new jersey) i am instate. Driving from my house it is 1hr n 8 min. to the new brunswick campus. $$ is an issue and housing board are actually more expensive than the actual college, which is nonsense in my book. I plan to double major in communications/journalism. is 80,000 worth the money for the type of profession. would i be able to pay this off. I am very concerned because i am a very organized person responsible and goal driven. And not looking to get into debt just because i didnt want to drive the 2 hours everyday. bu driving is tiring and one must be alert. I am trying to study for the act to get a full ride-doubt it'll happen- reason why i must decide now if communiting is the way. if i were to commute expenses will be 35, 000 for the 4 year; way less than 80,000. so is it worth the 80 grand considering the field that i will be going into. i also plan to minor in spanish.

p.s anyone could also talk to me about dorm life rutgers students preferably. i want to go into the honors program which will place me into honors housing. but what is dorm life as a whole.

ok. so im 16 n i dont necesarely look fat but i kno i am. i started this all healthy diet yesterday. cut sugar, soda, junk food, salt, etc. all i been eting is wheat bread apples n chicken breat n yogurt. now im not sayin im hungry all the time. but at thois rate imma quit soon. plus i started walkin with 1 of the sauna eercise thingys n is like im not tired but by thighs ache. im guessin is cuz im really outta shape. i need a new alternative to this walkin thing. n i need a diet that allows me to eat n help me get washbord abs=thats the ultemate goal. im 5*9 n weight 173. other quest. is. does the sauna really help. cuz all i do is sweat like a pig. but my hear rate aint going up or nothing. the food tatstes nasty n is flavorless n i need abs. i wanna kno how long will it take. i have 8 weeks. i wanna look sexy. not big but lean n toned. no money 4 gyms. need true help. trainers that kno bout this or informed people.any guys in my situation? hitme up + i hate drinkin 8 glases h2o tha
