We were just getting home from dinner as we pulled up I noticed a child from our neighborhood that lives about 5 houses down was standing in front of the house across the street with a poodle in his arms. As we were entering our gate the poodle came running over to our drive way causing our dogs to get a little nutty. Our Australian shepherd/queensland mix came out with his hair raised and they attacked each other. Our dog has never come out of the gate without permission before so we were all taken by surprise. He had the poodle on his back by his rib cage shaken him back and forth. The boy age 12 reached in to break up the fight right before I got there. He was unable to, but I grabbed our dog by his chest and pulled them apart. Yelled his name and he went back into the yard with my husband. The boy picked up his dog and walked back across the street of course we were all a bit shaken up. I went over and checked the poodle as my husband checked ours. No marks on either one both dogs just shaken up. Then the boy said that he was bit by his dog and I said my dog and he said no my dog. So I sent him home to clean up a wound on the back of his hand smaller then a pencil eraser. I then went and checked on our dog who was fine. We have 3 dogs total one Chiuaua one pug and this one. We have had other dogs at our house while dog sitting and never had a problem in fact we have been dog sitting a german shepherd for 3 weeks now. I take my dog to the unleash park we take him for walks around the lake with his leash on we also take him to family members homes and never had a problem with their dogs and him. We just got a brand new kitten and they are best buds.

About 15 minutes after the incident I had to leave and as I left the boy no longer had his dog outside and he was in the street playing with other neighbor kids with a volleyball. I figured all was fine - I was wrong. Got a call from my husband two hours later the police were called by the hospital because the parents took him in to get checked. Which I don't have a problem with. My problem is the kid told me it was his dog that bit him which makes since because my dogs mouth was wrapped around his dogs ribs but they came and quarantined my dog to the inside of my house for 10 days. (he has all shots and tags) I am not sure if they did the same for his dog. Then while the police were at my house my neighbor across the street next to the house the boys were out came out claiming he saw the boys by my gate with their dogs teasing my dogs. And this wasn't the first time he had seen this. During the day we leave our big dog outside while we are at work and I guess the kids throw rocks and tease and taunt them with their two dogs.

My brother and his family lived directly across from them a few years ago and they did they same thing to their dog. She got out and either scratched or bit the back of this boys sisters leg and same thing happened to her. The neighbor was also saying that she had been bit by 3 different dogs here in our neighborhood. makes you wonder.

So I am assuming if they decide to sue for ER visit they have no rights since they were provoking my dogs and claimed it was their own dog that bit him. I am just wondering if he changed his story when he got home saying it was ours.

Well I have woke up super grouchy this morning (yes, aunt flo is a knocking).

I live in a trailer park came home and found a car had parked in my space in front of my trailer. We looked around for the owner (it was a rental)we did't find them so we pulled the car out of the way about 5 feet. They finally showed up (mormans on a mission) they were on the other side of the park in someones trailer. They apologized drove off and came back about a minute later and now they are claiming damages.They also told us thaat we should put up and sign.I said isnt our home sign enough? The only place to park our cars are in front of our trailer in our lot space. They came back two days later taking pictures.
