My husband and I are huge advocates for adoption. I am a reunited adult adoptee who has adopted one of my 4 children. One day my hope is to help children and adults who are victims of rape and incest to cope with that trauma. It has happened to people who are extremely close to me and well..... matter of fact, its how I came about into this world. I get tired of people who say that adoption is such a bad thing. Adoption in alot of cases has been a way for some children to have a new start. To have stability and love. To have a family. I cannot speak for other people, but for me it has been a wonderful thing. If it weren't for adoption, I would not be here today. I thank God for it everyday. My heart goes out to those who did not get placed in good homes, to those who were lied to, to those who were put into worse situations. My hope is to help other people who have been through some of those things and show them that life does have a brighter side.
