Do people not know we are operating in Somalia now?
Black prisons, covert ops, drone strikes, we are in Somalia but it has nothing to do with humanitarianism.

21 AnswersPolitics10 years agoWho here believes the government can have any positive effect on the economy?
Who believes the government can increase employment or stimulate the economy or anything?
I believe every dollar the government spends works in exact contradiction to helping the economy. Mainly because the government must remove those dollars from the private sector, and is incapable of more accurately allocating dollars to its most desired functions.
10 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoIf you tax something you get less of it, if you subsidize something you get more of it. Do you agree?
If you tax pollution, pollution will decrease, correct? Cap and Trade?
If you subsidize corn and ethanol you get more of them, right?

So if you tax income and jobs you get less of them.

15 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDo people want to eradicate racism (sexism, sexual-ism, ageism, religion-ism) at the expense of free thought?
While this is a noble goal, the reductio ad absurdum of this is that you cant think differently of any two individuals. We would not even be allowed to distinguish between women and men or children and adults in the name of equality.
Subjective thoughts are not evil (in my opinion), they help us make decisions about the real world. The dangers people fear are inaccurate thoughts which can only be eliminate through education not force of law. As long as your hatred or misconception don't lead you to impose force on another I think you should think freely.
