I have a 1300$ budget so I cant get a good macbook pro retina display 15inch which I heard is the best for photography. I need a really good laptop i7 . Resolution 3200*1800 , 2 gb vga dedicated , 1 terabite hardisk . What do u recommend for photography with such a budget and specs

i bought a bunch of dvds and tried to burn them they didnt work , i thought there was a problem with the dvds but i bought others and still the same problem its says u need the latest firmware bla bla .. what could be the problem.

There is a brand i have that works always . so i dont know what could be the issue

i have a 600ex ii and a 300 power flash unit and a light box to position my flash . Now my question is where should i position the flashes if i only.have two flashes . Ps on a white background

I have a 600 ex ii and a canon 5d mark ii . bt recently i bought a lightstand and soft box so i can use my flash off camera. Bt im still a beginner and i dont really know to work with my flash off camera. i was experimenting with my friend at work bt i have a problem with the white balance i made his stand by the window at the office and i wanted to mix ambient light with a little fill flash for his face even if i tried to set my white balance manualy by taking a pic of a white piece of paper i got an orangey color. and even when i tried to take photos of him sitting on the desk and close the windows to use just the flash i wasnt able to get the right white balance when my flash was on the light stand. any advice how i can take a good photo by mixing ambient light and flash . and what are some tips for using my flash off camera or even on camera. bt flash is tricky so im having a hard time .. all the help would be appreciated . thank you

my boss asked to me photograph some of the items are our showroom. I work at a corporate gifts showroom so i will photograph items like watches, leather notebooks, crystals etc.

Im a beginner in photography so i dont have all the necessary lighting equipment needed for this shoot. I have a lightstand , soft box , and my 600ex canon flash, 100mm 2.8 lens and 24-105 lens , as well as my 5d mark ii and the wireless triggers to mount of my flash and camera.

Can anyone assist me in what settings to use on my cam as well as the lighting setup to use as well. where to mount my softbox since i have only one light source.

I will also be shooting my manager using the pens and notebooks etc so it wont be just closeups.

Please assist me in all i need to know for such a shoot.

i just bought a transmitter and reciever for my flash so i can use it off camera

im not familiar using the flash , if some one could give me a link of tutorials to teach me how to use the flash in manual mode not ettl and how i can use it off camera using the triggers.

i know what each do separetly but when i try to balance them together i get lost and my exposure is always wrong. I just wanna know if lets say im shooting in bright daylight , i know that when theres alot of light i should use a fast shutterspeed so if i put 1/250 i never know what settings to put for my fstop and iso. I just dont understand how to make them work together to get a perfect exposure. can someone please explain.

A common rule of thumb for estimating how fast the exposure needs to be for a given focal length is the one over focal length rule. This states that for a 35 mm camera, the exposure time needs to be at least as fast as one over the focal length in seconds. In other words, when using a 200 mm focal length on a 35 mm camera, the exposure time needs to be at least 1/200 seconds — otherwise blurring may be hard to avoid. and vice versa ... like what do those mean? in lenses just wondering

im just wondering because i dont have a big budget so im thinking either getting a good flash for my 600D or investing a good lens i have the 18-55 and 50 mm 1.8 bt usually when im shooting portraits my flash gets busy so i was wondering if those lenses are enough for portraits

I have an engagement photoshoot to shoot in 3 days and i want some tips and poses to give him and her. The place is going to be somewhere very sunny on a beach with lot of boats and a clear blue sky. Is it recommended to take a tripod with me? should i use a flash on manual settings? and what is the best settings to put my ISO aperture and shutter speed when there is alot of sun. I will be using 18-55 and 50-1.8 lenses with a canon 600D. Please let me know everything i need to know for such a photoshoot so i can feel 100% ready.
