I'm making a baby blanket for a friend that will be one side minky dot and the other flannel. I know that flannel can shrink a bit when washed, so would you recommend that I wash and dry the flannel before sewing? Or would it be okay without washing?

I have been wanting to pick up a rescue dog from our local Humane Society, and today I brought home a german shepherd black lab mix for the two day trial. So far, so good except that the dog does not seem to respond to anybody in my family, or anybody at all. She does not thrive on human attention. So my question is will the dog be harder to train due to the fact that it does not respond to praise for going potty etc. The dog does listen as far as when it picks up one of our toddlers toys but beyond that doesn't seem to pay attention. oh and its only 4 almost 5 months old could that be why it doesn't pay attention?

So I usually drink my whole water bottle before I fall asleep it's a 750ml one. Do you think that drinking all of that before bed could dilute hcg in my urine in the morning??

I thought that I got a slight positive last Friday, but I've tested twice after that and each has been negatives.

If I really think about it, Thursday night, I left my water bottle in the car, so I didn't drink it before bed, as apposed to the other nights I have had it.

Any ideas?

I asked a previous question, but earlier my laptop was coming up with a warning about trojan-bnk.win32.keylogger.gen and not letting into IE. I ran McAfee and it said it found 1 file infected and it fixed it. When the scan ended, it closed automatically. I tried to reopen it and it popped up with the 'Open With' window and would not let me on. I got onto safemode and tried to do a system restore, but I can't even get into that! It also comes up with the 'Open With' window.

What can I do?

My laptop is infected with a virus. It was first coming up with warmings of a trojan-bnk.win32.keylogger.gen, which I know was a virus, so I scanned the computer with my McAfee and it said it found one file with a virus and solved the issue. When it finished scanning, it closed; when I clicked on McAfee icon to open it and see what the results were, it will not let me open it or anything even IE. I pops up with the 'Open with' window. Any idea of what I can do?

I am downlaoding all of my 2000 photos of my son onto Snapfish and am planning to pay to have them all printed out. I of course have pictures of his first bath and potty training, where his winky is showing.

Does anyone know if snapfish will go ahead and develop these pictures for me or will they reject them or turn me in for child pornography??

Hi, so here is my story Nov. 3rd at 6w1d I started spotting a little brown, I waited it out 2 days and it didn't stop so I called my ob/gyn who told me to go in if I started to cramp. Well, I started to think I felt cramps so I went into the ER. They did a HCG count on me and it was 15881 at 6w3d, so they went ahead and did a pelvic exam and ultrasound. The doctor said that my cervix was closed and there was some blood sitting on my cervix. He did the ultrasound that measured at 6w1d. He could see the fetal pole and the yolk sac and no heartbeat, which he said isn't uncommon for there still being a yolk sac. They ordered me to get another HCG test done the following Monday and sent me home.

I did the HCG again and that one came up to only be 23215 at 6w6d. They were a little concerned that it wasn't doubling up, so they wanted me to do one in another few days. Two days later, I noticed that my urine was dark and cloudy and the ER hadn't done a UTI test, so I went to my primary dr. (because my ob wasn't in) and they confirmed that I had a UTI, but wouldn't give me medicine because I am pregnant. So, I went to the store and got some cranberry pills and juice. After I got home, I went potty and I was bleeding a good amount of red blood, so I went in to a different hospital. They did another HCG on me that came up at 28541 on 7w1d. They had a resident doctor do a pelvic exam on me, and he said that there was some blood coming out of my cervix and thought that I was miscarring. They sent me to a medical sonographer, who found a fetus with a heart rate of 97bpm and a subchorionic hematoma. After that, they told me to wait it out and go to m dr. the following Monday as scheduled. I went ahead and the next day did the other HCG at 7w2d and it came up at 30031. I took it easy on bedrest all weekend then went to my dr. on monday at 7w6d. They did an ultrasound and this time I was only measuring 6w1d. She could only see the fetal pole and yolk sac, no fetus or heartbeat. She did find the subchorionic hematoma, but classified it as a 'small' one, which is different than before. They said that they think that the baby stopped growing. So they wanted me to get another HCG done today to see if it went down or up and scheduled me for another ultrasound next week to see if there are any changes.

I am just so confused. I don't understand how they can see the fetus and then just not?

I am still feeling pregnant, like my breasts are very tender and I am still nauseous.

I am getting a second opinion ttomorrow, but I wanted to see what some other ladies may say to this.

Do you think that it is possible that there are twins and the one with just the fetal pole and yolk sac stopped growing? Or do you think that I am on the verge of miscarry like they are telling me?

Don't pregnancy symptoms stop if the baby stopped growing?

Okay, so on Wednesday I started seeing brown mucus when I wiped sometimes. I waited to see if it would stop, by Friday, it was still happening, so I called my doctor's office and spoke with her nurse, who told me that if I start to bleed more or cramp to go in the the ER. Later that evening, I don't know if it was real cramp or just my imagination, but I went in. The ER doctor did an HCG count on me and my count was in the 1500's (when I asked the doctor didn't know exactly, so that may not even be 100%) either way, they were high enough that he decided to do a pelvic exam and an ultrasound. He did the exam first and told me that there was some blood sitting on my cervix, but the cervix was closed and nothing looked wrong. He went ahead with the ultrasound, where he did see the fetus and the yolk sac still, so that is why he believed that there was not heartbeat. The doc felt compfortable to say that he didn't think that I was going to miscarry, so they sent me home and told me to get a new hcg count Monday.

Well, Monday (today) I woke up and went potty, the first time, there was nothing when I wiped. The second time I went potty, I wiped a bigger amount of dark blood. I called the nurse again, who told me to get my hcg blood work done and relax. I did just that. I have still been wiping some very light pink and brown and I have been feeling some cramps.

I am still feeling pregnancy symptoms like nausea and my sense of smell has seemed to have gotten better the last couple of days (to the point that I want to vomit from smelling).

I just feel all around down though. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Was it a miscarriage or a normal pregnancy?

We are TTC our second baby and I am now 5 to 7 DPO. My breast are feeling a little pain and I am wondering if this is an indication of implanation. I know that breast tenderness and breast pain is a big thing in pregnancy (I experiences that one first hand in my first pregnancy!) but I want to know if it is something that can be an indicator that implantation has taken place.

I think I may be ovulating. It started out yeasterday and today as slight cramp/tightening around my ovaries area. Tonight, it feels almost like mild period cramps. Is this normal ovulation cramps? I don't remember pain like this with my son.

I am TTC and I am having slight cramps in my lower abdomin around the place of my ovaries. I remember this cramping when I was pregnant with my first. I am also having slight tightness cramps on the left side of my abdomin slighty below my breast. Is this a normal cramping for implantation or ovulation?

My dog has been urinating a lot and in the house, which is something that she never does. This morning I found a pee spot on our carpet and after I soaked it up with a rag, I noticed that there was like a string in her urine. It looks very similar to mucus from a UTI or something.

Is this a common sign in dogs when they have an infection? Is there anything that I can do at home to help her without paying a million dollar vet bill??

My husband and I have been TTC our 2nd child, not intensively, but just out of thought. I have endometriosis and I am pretty sure with my son, I ovulated before my period was completely over. This time around, we have been just guessing and doing the deed :) Last night, I was feeling my breast and one started to leak a little colostrum. I stopped breastfeeding almost 8 months ago and I haven't noticed this happening since. I am just curious if this is a sign of ovulation or of pregnancy?

It it is pregnancy, I would be 4-5 DPO and I am not expecting my period until Oct.20th.
