  • When was the last 'feet not within the batters box ' called?

Watching the Red Sox vs Blue Jays yesterday, it was apparent that the majority of right handed batters for both teams did not have their feet within the box.

The question is has anyone actually seen this violation called in a game? If so, when was the last time was it called?

    Rule:

6.03 The batter’s legal position shall be with both feet within the batter’s box.

APPROVED RULING: The lines defining the box are within the batter’s box.

  • What has been the worse attendance?

With the Blue Jays having only 11,159 show up to Roger's Centre (formerly Skydome) on Wednesday. With Doc pitching even. The question has to be asked, what has been the worse attendance for one of your favourite team's games?

Also note, in 1962 when the Yankees were in last place they had a low of 413 in attendance.

  • MLB mid-game roof opening?

For as long as I can remember I have never seen a baseball game have a roof opened during the middle of the game. Does any one remember this occurring prior to the August 24th Boston @ Toronto game in the Rogers Centre (previously known as the Skydome)?

  • How come people are seemingly unable to spell correctly?

Really, How come that the great majority of questions asked and answered have blatant spelling errors or do not even use the real words.
