I am a writing, and I have finished working on a novella that is about 18,000 words long. It has remained in the recesses of my computer, and I was thinking about possibly trying to get my work published. I am Canadian, but my work isn't especially Canadian in content. The story itself would be considered as literary and/or transgressive fiction. I was hoping that somebody could point me in the right direction in regards to finding publishers. Thank you for any tips or suggestions.

I'm a writer of stories and poetry, and I have just finished writing a novella (novlette?) that is just under 16,000 words, I've only found one company called Quattro Press, but I'm not even sure that they would accept it solely for length. Any advice or publishers would be great, thank you for your time.

I'm really concerned, I recently had an overdose on painkillers, and I'm worried from what I've searched that a black stool is intestinal bleeding, although that was a few days ago and this has only happened today with one half one of one of my stools; one of my stools were completely brown. Should I be worried? I'm really concerned right now. If it helps, the overdose was 5 days ago, and I've never had a black stool before that. I was drinking a lot of whiskey last night alongside some wine.

Lately I've been starting to lose a direct connection to reality, everywhere I go I feel like I'm losing my perseption of it all, I can still operate and do reglar task, but I feel very detached from myself. Besides that I will randomly hear nature sounds when I shouldn't be, I'll be seeing ripples in the world around me, I hear (this is not me worrying that people are, this is actually hearing) people who don't know me talk down about me when I can hear them and they say things they wouldn't be able to know. I'm also hearing muffled voices from time to time.

I've been told by a therapist that this could be anxiety, does this sound like anxiety?

I'm a self taught violinist who is needing to show that I'm a competent player, but I don't have access to anyone who'd be able o accompany me. So I'm looking for some literally solo violin pieces that aren't too difficult.

Despite being self taught I have had access to some rcm books, and playing skills are up to around grade 6 or 7. So would anyone know any pieces I could learn?

I'm going to be in the states, driving from ontario, I'm hoping I can go to either a nice hardcore or house show while I'm down there, do you know any good bands that would be playing in either of those two cities next saturday or sunday?

Any bands playing in an area between that qould be fine, just tell me who, where and when.

I used salvia for the first time today, I've been sober for about 2 and a half hours, are there any after effects or long term defects that could happen from it? I just want to know whether there are any side effects or not.

As somebody who has been going gender problems I must ask. What are the differences between gender neutral, androgynous, and gender queer. I really would appreciate a good explanation on this only because I personally don't know what I'm considered.

In case any of you are wondering how I view myself; I have male reproductive organs, but I view myself to be neither male nor female. Instead I feel that I am composed of some male aspects and some female aspects, and more than that it seems to be reflecting itself through my looks as well. I'm not seeking any form of gender reassignment surgery, the closest procedure I'd maybe like would be electrolysis. With that being said, I usually call myself male in public to make others comfortable. So as a second question after reading that, what would that seem like?

I'm just curious if lyrics in screamo music (original screamo not 'second wave') typically follow a rhyme scheme or if they are just spontaneous, if somebody can help me I'd appreciate it. I mean I read the lyrics pages for some bands and I can never tell if it's just freeverse put into a beat, or if it follows a rhyme scheme.

I've been writing music for a long time, and lately I've wanted to try doing something similar to a lot of bands I've been listening to lately like the saddest landscape, saetia, remainder, old gray, pg. 99, orchid, pianos become the teeth, etc. I can understand any theory you throw at me, if you don't know any theory I don't mind either. I just need to know some commonly found concepts instrumentwise.

Okay, here's my jam, I'm going to be living in thunder bay Ontario for the next 2 and a half months, could anyone tell me if there's a hardcore or youth music scene of any sort there? As well as if there is anything worth doing that's not outdoorsy? Any help would be appreciated.

I just need to get exposed to more opera, I've been listening to select operas for a long time, but I need to expand my knowledge, can anyone give me some of their favorites. I'd really appreciate it.

I hear all of these people saying how drug addicts are scum, and will end up wasting all their money on drugs, etc. Whatdo you think of people addicted to prescribed substances, and don't waste their money on them. Are they still scum to you, or what?

Preferably metal or hardcore, though not limited. If you can find a song that with some lyrics about either bloodlust, the urge to kill, or a song talking about the satisfaction of murder. I have to find this for a school project
