Maycomb- A few weeks ago, Tim Johnson, the dog of Mr. Harry Johnson mysteriously caught rabies in February. He was first spotted by the Finch children and their colored cook, Calpurnia.

Fortunately, Calpurnia took immediate action by informing Mr. Atticus Finch and informing the neighbours by contacting Eula May.

Calpurnia's quick thinking ensured that Mr. Finch and the Maycomb sheriff, Mr. Heck Tate were able to arrive at the spot soon armed appropriately with a rifle.

The whole incident ended in just 10 minutes when Mr. Finch fired one shot to finish off Tim Johnson.

The rubbish collector, Zeebo later came around to pick up Tim's carcass.

All the doors of houses along that road had been shut tightly. The road was deserted and absolutely no sound was heard, remarked Calpurnia when we interviewed her about the incident.
