    During preflight, I have been taught to pour strained fuel on the ramp, which seems to be a clear violation of EPA guidelines for handling of leaded fuel. Does anyone know where I can find and read the actual laws governing this in the state of Illinois?

  • What plane(s) did Mr. AUDU fly in his Naval Aviator career?

    I'm just curious. I don't mean to offend if it's a sensitive subject. If it's not too much, I'd also like to ask exactly how you get your plane in the NAVY. I know there's college degrees, officer school, and various forms of rigorous physical/mental testing, intense training and so on, but how do you get assigned to an F/A-18 as opposed to an A-6 or a E-2? Is there an application for each airframe, or is it just one form to fill out that gets you into flight school and then the best students get first pick?
