Just did a fresh windows install on an IBM desktop, Pentium 4, not sure about other specs but shouldn't matter. For some odd reason, the usb ports are acting weird. It only recognizes my usb KVM switch if I switch back and forth numerous times. Also, it doesn't seem to want to read a thumb drive correctly, if at all. It always says this device has malfunctioned, but it works in another PC. I also have a wireless adapter that is acting funny in it, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It isn't port specific because I've tried all ports. Also, once it recognizes my mouse and keyboard they work fine, so it can't be loose wiring anywhere.

So far I've download ThinkVantage updates and download .NET framwwork 3.5 right now. I've also unistalled all of the USB hosts and devices from the device manager and let windows reinstall the drivers automatically after restarting. Still acting funny. Could it the HDD? Motherboard? Ideas?
