Is this a friend I can have? - prefer over-40 consideration, please?
The kids will laugh and think its stupid. Okay, I'm 54, have been married for 27 years, and we have made friends with this fellow from our card games. He is 9 years younger than me, and he is gay. He is intelligent and amusing, makes me laugh, and will go along to do things with me when my husband doesn't want to, and my husband is okay with that. I don't know if it is because I haven't had any real friends in so long or something else, but I find myself thinking of him and comparing my husband to him, which isn't right since they are such completely different people (obviously). We have great conversations and discussions, more than I usually have at home. BTW, my husband is also great friends with him, and probably talks more to him than to me in the course of a day. So I guess I'm asking if this is a friendship that will hurt me in the long run, or whether I should just enjoy the company and go with the flow. I really haven't had any outside friends in a long time, and have suddenly realized that I have been lonely and I'm afraid he'll get bored with the both of us and move on with his life.
3 AnswersFriends1 decade agoDepo-provera, hysterectomy, estrogen patch, night chills?
Was put on depo for fibroids and bleeding, followed by hysterectomy, and now on estrogen patch. After starting depo, started getting night chills, about 2 hours after going to sleep. So cold, shivering and teeth chattering, but only a short while. Now on estrogen, but still getting the chills sometimes. Caused by too much progesterone? Too little estrogen? Anybody had anything similar and want to share with me? Thanks.
3 AnswersWomen's Health1 decade agoQuestion for hysterectomy ladies?
I have to have it done for menometrorrhagia and intramural fibroids.
I figure I have to feel better, compared to right now. But my friends say I will feel great, wondered if its true for everyone - and will my sex drive return?
Thanks ahead of time for sharing.
