Can someone please explain how you catch a shiny legendary Pokemon on Pokemon Alpha Saphire? I think it's about soft resetting but can't you run away from the battle and and the Pokemon will still be there and hen when you go into another battle there is a chance of it being shiny?

I am 14 years old and I feel my confidence has been lowered recently, because I feel I havnt grown in height for about 2 years. I am going to see a clinic soon, but I'm worried I will not grow in ages, and also my friends are really tall so I feel uncomfortable and unsure. Every one at school mentions how small I am. There a few my size but not many. I also havnt but on any weight recently either and I eat quite a lot! Please can someone give me some help or advice?
