    This is pretty common in India these days -

    Scenario

    A candidate has 2 offers in hand (or so he claims) and then in your interview he audaciously states about this fact. They are looking for more CTC than what they have in hand.

    Question -

    1. Will you offer him ? If yes

    a) what is the guarantee that he will not show the Your (3rd) offer for getting the 4th one ?

    b) What if on the day he does not turn up for work and dont take your calls either ??

    2. If No ?

    Do you put a 'cooling period of 6 months' before you reconsider when this candidate approaches onceagain.

    Assumptions : -

    This candidate is technically 'the best' and is working on hot skills which your company badly needs. What do you do in this case and your company approach this problem ??
