I was in a beading store yesterday and someone complimented me on the necklace I had made, I was wearing it. So I took it off to show her and she said "Oh I couldn't wear that" as she stepped back. Then she said "I wear an insulin pump" Well I also wear a pump I have only been on it 3 months and I never heard this warning before. So I just sort of froze for a minute. She has the same endocrinologist and same pump Trainer as me but I was never told that. My endo is out of the office on fridays and the diabetes education / trainer's office is moving to another building all this week so I don't want to call them till monday. Just woundering.

I'm shopping around for a pump and I am so lost. Can you give me some pros and cons on specific models/brands. I can't decide its my first pump. I'm a 33 year old female type 1.

I'm looking for an easy kid-friendly cherry pie that uses cherry pie filling...not real cherries. It needs to be real easy and use only the basics. I've tried but I can't find one. Could you send me the URL for a good one off like allrecipes or something? If you have an apple pie recipe I'll take that one too. Remember, quick easy and kid-friendly.
