  • Employer drag the payment date?

i have just quit my job and i suppose to get my payment check by today, but my employer said that they need to calculate my working time, so they will give me the salary next week and bonus by next month.

The problem is there is a clause in my contract saying that i am eligible for bonus if i perform well in this job for one year. I have the performance report and my supervisor has already signed it stating that i performed quite well. i worked 13 months and i supposed to received all the payment by this month.

Are they trying to drag the time or find any reason to deduct my bonus? Can I sue them if I don't get the bonus by next month?

  • Never be together forever?

I need opinions on this matter.

I broke-up with my bf few months ago but i accepted him back and we are kind of get back together. We talk to each other everyday, and sometimes we meet at his place.

Even that I seemed like everything goes back to normal, he act differently from before the break-up. When I confront him and ask what does he actually want, he said that we will never be together forever because I asked for break-up. He also said he want to concentrate on his career so I won't be his priority.

I told him it doesn't matter if we are no gonna be together forever, I just want to be with him when we can be together. I love him so much, it will be hard for me to cut off the contact just like that.

What happened to us? I know what I want but this is really confusing? Anyone have this experience?

    * he's the one who wanted the reconciliation and he said he loves me still like he did...

  • Do I need to write a resignation letter?

I am currently a staff with 1 year contract. My contract is ending this April. I've told my boss I don't intend to extend my contract but she asked me to stay for 1 more month. I agreed on that, assuming I will be a temp staff for 1 month, but then she came to me asking me to write a resignation letter which I find confusing. I mean I quit because the contract is ending not because I suggested it.

The problem is I have the clause in my contract that I will receive a completion bonus if I fulfil my contract, and it will forfeited if I terminate the contract.

I don't intend to commit myself to this company anymore, and the reason I don't extend my contract is because I don't agree with the clauses in the new contract.

Do you think she is trying to make me signing the new contract and make it look like I am resigning?

  • Post Break-Up Pain?

Recently I broke-up with my boyfriend.

At first he tried to reconcile by acting like nothing happened. It was very tempting because I love him so much, but still I hold on to my decision.

I told him we can get back together again if we have solved all the problem that triggered the break-up. But not by acting like it was a simple a fight everything back to normal. It made him unhappy and blaming me for this break-up.

Things are not easy for me. I have to surpress my longing for him, and now I am sad because he is like that. I tried to ignore it but it's very hard esp. when you know someone you love so dearly being unhappy and upset.

I don't want to talk about this with my family and friend because they don't like my ex, and they will start complaining about him.

That is not something I want. Even that we have broken-up now, the problem is not whose fault it is but rather that he is not the right person.

  • Employer want us to come back on weekend?

I need to ask something about over-time.

My employer ask us to come back on the weekend. But all of us have arranged the schedule before. And then she told us to "re-arrange" it.

Does she has the right to do this?

I mean it's weekend and even she offer double OT pay, we still have the right to refuse, don't we?

  • My Boyfriend Cheated, am I doing the right thing?

I found out recently that my boyfriend cheated on me.

He left his phone in my bag and I forgot to return it, when my sister borrowed it (she thought it was mine), we found that he has been messaging with other girl.

I called the girl and she sounded nervous telling "there's nothing between them"

Then I confronted my bf asking for the truth he admitted it but he said there is nothing happened and they were only messaging each other. he also said that he only went for dinner one or two times.

He begged for a second chance and I was actually giving it.

Am I doing the right thing?

  • Does men mean everything he says?

My boyfriend talks about future with me (marriage life, house and kids), but he told his mom, he won't be married anytime soon, and the house he is going to buy is for his single life. What does it mean?

Will it be hurting if I ask him directly about this question? Because I am afraid it will sound like I don't trust him.

  • Employer's Approval for Paid Leave?

Hi, I have a question about annual/paid leave.

I have 7,5 days annual leave for this year, and I can bring 3 days to next year if I don't use all the leave this year.

I still have 3,5 days left for this year and I am planning to take half day to settle some immigration matter.

However, my employer was reluctant to approve my leave request and ask me to take half day off instead and pay back the hour by doing over time.

Does she has the right to do that?

If I take it as a leave I still got paid for over-time.

Because even if I dont take the half day leave, I will need to do over-time unpaid and my leave will be forfeited.

  • What present is suitable for my boyfriend?

We have been seeing each other for almost 6 months, his birthday is coming, I am wondering what kind of present will be useful for him.

He is a shopaholic so it seems like he already has everything he needs, I was thinking about making something, but I have already cook for him almost every week, and I believe that men prefer something useful rather than some memorial stuff.

    Any advice?

  • Why is it so hard to break-up?

Except when it was stirred by a big fight, it is never easy to announce a break-up.

Firstly, we may still have some feeling to our partner. Maybe not love, but care or friendship.

And the reason is usualy those problems that our partner never realized (even that we have told them before).

When your bestfriend were that situation, what would you tell her?

Will it sound cliche if she say the reason for breaking-up is because they are not compatible?

  • How big is the chance my boyfriend cheat on me?

Recently I've started a relationship with this guy I met at some bar. He has some control issue but I can handle it.

The problem is sometimes my mind start to wander and I begin to suspect him being unfaithful. It never happened to previous relationship since I am quite a laid back person.

Is there any chance he acts jealous and strict to cover his infidelity?

I have no proof but there's once I called his cellphone and a girl answered it, when I asked that girl about my boyfriend, she said it's wrong number.

I confronted him, but he said he didn't know I called, and maybe the call went to wrong number.

  • Sudden despair and fear, mood swing??

Lately, I have sudden feeling of despair a lot, and it happened abruptly without any reason. In addition, sometimes it comes with strong fear and anxiousness.

The despair and fear will go after one or two days, but the fatigue effect is left for a while.

These symptoms really affect me when it occurred, and at times I just can’t resist the urge to cry even when I am in office, so I have to pretend there’s something wrong with my nose and it cause this flu-effect.

When it happened, I tried to ignore the feeling and carry on my normal life as when I am okay, but sometimes it just so unbearable that I need to tell someone how I feel.

I told some of friends and my sister, but they seemed not getting what I am saying.

What happened to me? Anyone can help?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Why do I feel unhappy when I should be satisfied with my life?

Recently, I moved to a new country. Despite that the job I have here is the kind I always dream of, I feel depressed in my new environment.

For some reason I had to postpone my plan in the previous country I lived, and return to my home country. I use to have a lot of friends there, and more importantly I have my best friend on my side. But then, I also had a terrible experience of my past relationship which also I lost after I leave.

I stayed in my home country only for a month and moved here, since I felt a lot of pressure.

At first I thought my depression is because I need time to adapt this new environment, and to deal with the post-break-up effect, but it has been three months since the break-up and two-months since I moved here.

Recently I argued a lot with my sister who lived with me, due to unstable emotion. She thinks that my unhappiness is too much since I have a good job and peaceful life here.

I wonder if anyone ever had those times?

    How do you get through?
