When I hit the guide button it shows only the tv channels..when I know for some people it will show the channels and the tv screen in a small box in the upper right hand corner. Is there a way to change that in the settings?

It's happened for like the last 7 years or something like that...i don't get it.

I've been working at a bank now in the pension department for almost a year..I'm 23 almost 24 years old with a college education (bachelors in marketing)

I'm only making 26,000 right now because it was my first job right out of college and I didn't have much experience...but I have learned very quickly and I actually have people that have been at the bank for years coming up to me for help with stuff..I made a list of all of my accomplishments..and I have achieved all of the goals that my manager set in place for me when I started.

I need to make a lot more so that I can afford my own place and pay off school loans but I'm not sure how to approach it during my review..I would like to make 35,000 but is that too much of an increase from 26,000?

Like I said this is my first real job so I'm not sure how to approach the yearly review.

So I'm 22 years old and I just figured out 2 weeks ago (the day after my 22nd b-day) that I have type 1 diabetes..it was a huge shock for me and my family because no one in my family has diabetes, but I guess it's just one of those random things. It's a huge change in lifestyle for me and theres one area in particular I was wondering about. For the one full year that I was legally allowed to drink I enjoyed myself, going to bars with friends and what not. But now they tell me that when I'm drinking I should only have like 2 beers. Does anyone have type one diabetes that could tell me more about drinking with this condition?

I appreciate any info on this topic or anything else related to type one diabetes that you would like to share with me.

Hey I'm a 20 year old guy and I'm pretty skinny and have always been skinny(6'2-6'3ish and 168lbs.)...i really dont eat that healthy at all...like i eat a lot of junk food and icecream...hate vegetables...

I dont go to a gym or anything but I guess I get some excercise from work...I think I'm losing weight and I dont know how...people keep asking me if I'm getting skinnier and it gets so annoying...how could I be getting skinnier?...my jeans are even getting looser...its unbelieveable and makes no sense...

again...i guess i slightly get excercise because i wash cars for enterprise rent-a-car...and its some pretty decent physical work with all the cars that need to be cleaned...but that cant be it can it??

when i do meet the special girl that i want to marry...and that day comes where i am ready to propose to her...how exactly do i know what size ring to get?

Im just thinking about it cuz...u cant ask her what size ring she would wear...cuz that would give away the whole element of surprise that im going to propose to her...cuz obviously she would know...

am i missing something here? is this a stupid question? do you just guess on the size...hope it fits and if it doesnt then get it refitted??...but then that would kinda suck if u go to put the ring on her finger and it doesnt go on all the way...i dont know...u tell me...im just thinking about it

yea...20 years old, a guy, AND a virgin. is this weird?

Dont get me wrong...there have been a few opportunities where I know it could have happened...but it just never felt right..i dont know of any of my guy friends that are still virgins and it just makes me feel stupid...well not stupid...but some other word that i cant find right now
