I am using a MacBook Air, still new to it. In Yahoo mail, there is no To field offered when I compose a message. It is greyed out. I can only reply to messages I already have.

I have a desk with this label inside and have been unable to find out much on the furniture company. I was looking to research value on the desk.

My daughter has a basic 5 piece drumset. I heard about drum mutes which reduce the noise by 95% and I don't want them quieted that much, I am afraid she won't use the mutes if she can't get some noise out of them. Is there anything that will reduce the noise by like 50% maybe? Her little brother plays in the garage with her and I worry about both of their hearing. My daughter listens to her Ipod on earbuds while she plays so she doesn't want to wear earplugs.Thanks!

I am running Windows XP and not interested in upgrading to Vista at this time. However, I am trying to find a program similar to Vista's Photo Gallery. Where I can tag pictures that are on my PC so that I can easily find certain photos. I need a low cost alternative. Thanks!

OK, I am still new at Adobe. Here's the deal: My daughter bought me a large collage type frame that holds lots of irregular size photos. Such as 2x2, etc. I can see in Adobe how to resize my photos to be a 2x2 but it skews the image. How can I make a crop box that is 2x2 and be able to put that box over my image to select the part of the image that I want. In other words, my photos are probably scaled on a 4x6 ratio right now and I do not want to resize them to a 2x2 but instead want to cut a 2x2 section out and be able to print it. Does this make any sense?

OK, so here's the question: The expression 2(l+w) can be used to find the perimeter of a rectangle with a length l and width w. What are the length and width of a rectangle if the area is 13.5 square units and the length of one side is 1/5 the measure of the perimeter? Explain your reasoning.

I figured out the answer. I figured out that if two sides must be 1/5 of perimeter each and two sides must be 1.5/5 of perimeter. So I figured out that the sides must be 3,3,4.5,4.5 units each to equal a perimeter of 15. However, I just figured this out by plugging in numbers until all factors were met. I know there must be a formula to figure out this answer and I need to show my daughter that. Please help this 30+ year old who has forgotten her math knowledge! I need help with the "explain your reasoning" part. Thanks!

I recently decided to tackle my overflowing bookcase and get rid of some books I know I will never read again. I went to half.com (part of ebay) and my books were selling for 75 cents. I know that the shipping I get reimbursed is never enough so there is no way I would make any money on these items. Why are so many people selling their things at prices like these if they are not making a profit? I see people selling coupons on ebay for 50 cents with free shipping. I mean, really, they have to clip them and pay for postage, what are they gaining?

I am searching for an appetizer using one of these two methods but I am not sure which is more cost effective so I wanted to know before I searched. I am serving 10 people. If anyone knows a good recipe using one of those in an appetizer that goes with lasagna, you can add that too if you want. Thanks!

My daughter has her cell phone set to not save her sent text messages? Is there away this setting can be overriden or that the texts are saved online. She has a Nokia 6030 from Cingular.
