Delta Sigma Theta?
I am in my mid-twenties, a returning student, and am thinking of pledging a sorority.
Of the organizations on my campus, Delta Sigma Theta seems the most in line with my ideals of service, education, etcetera. It doesn't seem to me to be all about partying and mixing it up.
Here's the problem: I am an online student, which means I would have to drive nearly an hour every day (one way) to do Rush next year. But I will be a graduate by next December and could attempt to become a graduate member.
Do I have a better chance of becoming a Delta if I take the plunge, save my pennies and drive extremely far to attempt to pledge as an undergrad, or should I keep plugging on my local community service and grades and attempt it in 2009, as a graduate, once I have admitted to law school?
One other teeny, tiny thing that shouldn't even be an issue, but is...I'm white. I looked at the traditionally White sororities, and none of them impress me...

TheLaw.Net has been sending our office adverts. They claim that their system is better and more affordable than Westlaw or Lexis for online legal research. Does anyone else out there use this service instead of or in addition to Westlaw/Lexis online services, and if so, what do you think?
4 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoWhy Isn't Nashville Listed Under U.S. Cities in Local Businesses on Y! Answers?
Neither Nashville, TN nor Memphis is listed. This means the entire state of Tennessee essentially goes unrepresented.
Nashville is a growing city with lots going on and a thriving culture, so why is it not listed on Y!A?
