I want to build an application but I'm an unsure the technology or language needed to get the job done. I've seen a lot of software that can interact with a website. I've seen ones that can search a site showing you whats there and actually makes changes, post comments, or whatever all through the software. How is this done? What language(s) can do this? In general I want the app to be able to show and change your profile on certain sites and these sites don't have an API from what I can see. Thanks

I have a small hiccup on my credit that knocked me down about 70 points that I'm trying to fix myself. I had a doctor bill that totaled over $500. I had paid all but about $25 without realizing. I moved and they kept sending the bill to my old address so I was unaware of the unpaid portion of the bill until it showed up on my credit report. Do I write the letter to to doctor, the agency they reported it to or the credit bureau? Also, if I explain the situation as it is will they remove it? The billed has been paid for a while now. If not what would I need to say in order for them to remove it. Thanks!!

I've heard of a Zen concept that i think goes "no roof above thy head and no floor beneath thy feet."
