  • Week 12 Flex slot- RB L McCoy or WR R Meachem; Def- NYG v Broncs or NE v Saints?

I did McCoy last week and he did decent, but Meachem really seems on a roll now... with the Def, I'm wavering going up against the NO offense and them potentially racking up the points (negating pts from ints and sacks and point spread unless they score TDs off of turnovers)... thinking NYG might be the safer play of the two. Any advice would be appreciated.

  • DEF- TB v car or ARI v STL?

I'm somewhat torn on this one... ARI looks to have a good overall matchup against STL's 'not doing much' offense, but TB might be able to stifle CARs run attack and force it in the air, and TB could potentially get some picks for scoring potential.

  • Week 7 D- HOU v DET or MIN v CHI?

MIN did very well last week, but I'm thinking HOU might be a better play this week because of DETs offensive woes.

  • QB P Manning v Delhomme and TE Cooley v Clark?

I took Peyton with my first pick and he hasn't had a good start to the season. I took Jake as a backup and he did very well during the bye week.

Now I am debating... coming off of the bye week and going against HOU, can he pull it together and have a good game... or should I stick with Delhomme? Its awfully tempting with Jake having his 2 WRs back and Stewart running well (I have him too) against KC.

Almost the same issue with TE... Cooley hasn't really had a stellar outing yet, but could take advantage of PHI... but if Peyton does wake up and have a field day throwing the ball, Clark will definitely get the touches.

  • DEF for Week 3- ATL or BUF?

Am torn between the two... their opponents KC and OAK both aren't doing well... trying to figure out which might be the better scoring matchup for the defense.

  • Looking for quote concerning short height and fighting?

I came across this quote in one of those 'daily quotation' posts in a newspaper once upon a time, but can't remember the exact quote or who said it.

The essence of the quote was about 'not angering' or 'not fighting' someone short, because the short person has nothing to lose... would fight to kill or destroy their opponent... something to that effect.

The only thing I recall about the source was that it might have been a historical politician. Not sure though.

  • Motherboard recommendation for new system?

Finally decided to get around to replacing my current system, which was built before the Dual Cores and PCI-Express tech hit.

I will not be using my pc for gaming, however I do use it for video editing, format conversion, and burning.

I have decided on the E8500 dual core Intel CPU. Now I am trying to look at mboard reliability and video card capability.

I want to go with two Nvidia cards, since I would like to be able to extend my desktop across two montiors. I am not sure in that setup I want if going with a SLI 'gaming' mboard would be appropriate, or just go with a 'workstation' one.

  • Which to choose for Defense: DAL v Car or TB v Sf?

Both CAR and SF have typically had poor scoring outings against good teams... just not sure which defense to go with. TB did great this past week against ATL and they get SF now... but CAR might not do so well against DAL either.

  • RB Lynch (BUF) or RB Jackson (STL)?

I am starting Grant from GB and Graham from TB no matter what... but I keep going back and forth on my 3rd slot.

CLE has a soft run D, but Lynch will be splitting carries a bit. Jackson has done well the past couple of weeks, but GB might load up on him and force STL into the passing game.

Normally i wouldnt be so concerned about hedging on two good players, but my opponent this week in the semi finals has Brady and Moss against NYJ and I know I'll need every point i can scrounge if NE stomps them into the ground.

  • Lineup question... If Colston is cleared to play...?

When Colston went down, I picked up another TE that day to cover for Colston at least for this week. Was a decent choice, because McMichael actually got a TD.

But having McMichael locks in my TE spot for this week. The lineup I have right now for my WRs are Wayne IND, Fitzgerald ARI and Clayton BAL.

With their games all on Sunday, I can still sub in Colston at one of these slots, should he be able to play.

If he comes back, who would you bump in the lineup to give him a slot?
