I bought a used Brother MFC-7860DW laser printer. I have 24 hours to try it out or bring it back if it doesn't work. After plugging it in, it indicates that the drum needs to be replaced. That's not a problem, but it also tells me the there is no paper loaded in the tray, even though i filled the tray up.

So, will replacing the drum resolve the "no paper" error message? Or, am I dealing with two entirely different problems? I only paid $50 for the printer but I can return it if it doesn't work out but I only have 1 day to test it and I wish to avoid buying the new drum if that won't solve the problem. Thanks.

I received this during Yahoo Answers second year, ( I think) for participating. Did any one else claim theirs, and what did you do with them?

P.S. There were all kinds of prizes for different levels, I believe the top levels received jackets and coffee mugs.

I bought a roll of Kodak Ektar 25 speed film that expired in 1991. It was $2.50. What kind of results can I expect from it? There were more available are they too expensive? 36 exposures by the way.

I am going to do some black and white film developing at home and I was wondering, after I've mixed my solution of chemicals, how long can I store them in the containers before using them?

Say the fixer for example they say its reusable, but for how long can I keep it? And what about mixed developer, must it be used immediately or will it hold for a few days or even weeks? Thanks.

I depend on people's gratuity to offset the costs of my job, and the amount of labor I put in. (Delivery Driver) Without tips, I would have to find a new job. My company pays me minimum wage because they know I will receive tips, and my gas is only partially compensated.

I have an HP laptop, it as about 1 year and half old. My battery started dying after like 30 minutes,so I had the battery replaced, that was about 2 months ago, ever since then, the battery last much longer!

The problem is that when it gets to about 20%, it suddenly jumps down to like 4%, giving me almost no time to react to plug it in.

Keep in mind this is a new battery, what can i do to fix it any ideas?

I seem to have lost one of my onilne rentals from Blockbuster, I've looked everywhere, and will continue to look, but I'm wondering if anyone knows what will happen if I report to them that I've lost it? I know theres a place online to report just an issue, but i can't find out how much they will make me pay.

In the meantime I'm looking for it and I'm only able to rent 2 movies at a time. Has this happened to anyone? What will blockbuster do?

I have a wireless network, with one laptop already connecting, but when I try to use another laptop(both with XP home), it won't go past the step where it acquires the IP address from the router.

I know my router is DHCP capable, and it had no trouble assigning an IP address to my first laptop. I've tried setting a static IP address, and entering those setting manually into the TCP settings page on my laptop, and no success. Then I figured there might be something wrong with my wireless card, so i tried it at a friends house, and I had a flawless connection. Any ideas on what i can do?
