I've been on birth control for about a year now, and for the last few days I've been getting a little blood (mostly brown), but I'm not supposed to get my period for another 2 weeks. I'm starting at a new college and have been extremely stressed lately. My face is also breaking out pretty bad. Could the bleeding be stress related or something else?

I just took the morning after pill [as a precaution because I don't take my birth control pill at the same time every night, so I wanted to make sure nothing happened], but I was wondering if I still take my birth control as directed.

I've taken birth control for about 6 months now, but I don't really remember to take it at the same time every night. [I usually take it anywhere between 8:30pm and 1am]. And, last night the condom broke. So, my question is: Should I get the morning after pill to be safe, or should my birth control work? Also, how much does the pill cost?
