  • What will you do to survive a zombie infestation in Singapore?

One of the scariest apocalyptic scenarios that’s often depicted in movies, TV series and even games is a zombie apocalypse. Imagine a zombie-creating virus that’s accidentally created and spread to the human populace. A spreading zombie outbreak can lead to the collapse of civil society unless survivors or uninfected humans do something about it.

As we celebrate Halloween, we want to know if you think you can survive a zombie attack in your country. What will be your survival plan? What’s on your must-have list in order to live through a zombie outbreak?

  • What is the one thing you like best about Malaysia?

There is a lot of cynicism among Malaysians these days. Issues like the recent sex video as well as the constant politicking among leaders have made a lot of people lose faith in our leaders, while fiery topics like the Alkitab issue have driven a wedge among Malaysians.

Maybe it's time to remind ourselves why we love Malaysian and why we still want to be Malaysians. Let's share our favourite thing about our motherland with each other. It can be anything, from the great food, to the great people, to the lack of terrible natural disasters. Let's just be positive about the 'tanah tumpahnya darahku' again. :)

  • Three years on from GE12's political tsunami, have things in Malaysia improved?

March 8 2008 was a watershed moment in Malaysian history. Mighty Barisan Nasional got a bloody nose as opposition parties pick-pocketed Kedah, Perak, Penang and Selangor from under BN's nose, swept most of the KL parliamentary seats and comfortably hung on to Kelantan. A shocked nation called the 12th General Elections a 'political tsunami'.

It's been three years. In that time, Malaysia has seen a change of Prime Minister, almost 20 by-elections, a change of government in Perak and the crippling effect of a global recession, just to name a few.

How do you think the country has fared in the past three years? Has Pakatan Rakyat proved to be able custodians of their states and a viable alternative to Barisan Nasional? Has BN learnt its lesson and changed with the times? Has the greater balance in Parliament translated to better lawmakers or just more noise?

Share your opinions on how you think our leaders have fared over the past three years. Let's talk and put democracy to work!
