I have a 5th gen. video ipod.A few weeks ago i started hearing music through only one ear.I got new headphones and nothing changed,and the same side was mute,but if i pulled back on the wire it would work again.3 pairs of headphones later with the same problem and the soundless side I wonder.Is my headphone jack broken?

ok,so I'm trying to get my computer to boot from the recovery discs I made.Though when I put the first dics in the drive,the menu that pops up has nothing that would make the computer boot form the discs.The menu says,print pictures,veiw slideshow,veiw files,play with media player, take no action,copy pictuers to folder,or play video files.This really makes no sence to me because I don't ha any pictures or videos on the disc.What should I do?

So I have my recovery discs,how do I recover/fix/restore, my computer useing the discs?I'm terribly inexperienced with computers,so step-by-step would be nice.thank you for your help!

ok,so my computer has this window that pops up periodicly that tells me it can't find system file 32.My virus protection said I had to quarentine this file.I did,but my computer is acting strangly.like the active desktop keeps shutting down and I have a huge problem with pop ups that I never used to.Is this caused by the absence of the file,or is my computer just screwd up?
