  • Ramifications for putting a decoy Parking Ticket on your OWN car?

I go to University of Central Florida. Finding parking durring peak hours can take litterally 60-80 minutes. An alternative is to park in many open places that cause no disruption but are considered off limits, and you are fined $25 each time you are caught.

The parking enforcement is not connected with the Police Department, it is connected with the school. While they have rights to tow cars and such, they have no official powers -- their main threat is that they can request the school withholds your grades/transcripts until Parking Violations are paid.

My question is -- if I mimicked the parking ticket envelope (bright yellow envelope that says Parking Ticket) and place it on my OWN car after parking to make the Parking Enforcement think my vehicle had already been dealth with, if discovered COULD I get in any more trouble than just a real $25 ticket? Would I be breaking any real laws? Would the school be able to punish me academically for this?
