I have a Dell monitor, about 5 years old. When I turn my computer on and the monitor screen, the screen will go black. I have to turn the monitor screen button on and off 10-15 times and it will finally stay on. Is this a monitor problem? Dell wants $60 to run a diagnostic on-line to determine if it is a problem in the tower or not. Is it worth it? Or do I just need a new monitor? Not sure if this is a waste of money or not. Thank you.
