  • can you bleed out from a wrist artery puncture?

If an artery like the main wrist artery is punctured say by like a 2cm by 2cm puncture (not slashed) would the artery bleed out? what I am asking is if an artery is punctured and not majorly cut open ...could you still bleed to death?

  • why do people give the British so much hate for bombing the Nazi's so bad in WWII?

I hear so much even these days 60 plus years since the war how England bombed Germany a LOT and killed countless innocents yet Germany started the whole thing and killed many civilians themselves but for some reason everyone looks at us like WE were the ones who did wrong.

I mean were we seriously supposed to just sit here and let them blow the hell out of half of London and its surrounding cities and towns? its nonsense.

  • what sort of inside jokes or games do you have with your other half?

I just curious what sort of in-jokes or silly fun games you have with your boyfriend or girlfriend? if I ever watch TV with my girlfriend I will suddenly take out some chocolate which she didn't know I had and unwrap it and eat it in front of her. She will ask for some but I will just totally ignore her. She will try and get it from me and I will keep moving it away from her whilst watching TV and acting oblivious to her. This goes on for a few minutes ..often with her struggling with me to grab the chocolate then I will laugh and give in and give her it.

Does anyone else have their own little games with their boyfriend or girlfriend?

  • why won't online boyfriend meet me in a public area?

I am 15 and been talking to this lad online for 6 months who is also 16. He sent me pics and he soooo hot!! like he looks almost the same as Josh Hartnett.

We have feelings for each other and we live about 2 hours away from each other. He said he wants to meet me so I am traveling down to where he lives to stay with him and his mother for the weekend but he says he wants to meet me alone first and in some local woods to him. I asked why because it sounded weird and he said he was a avid ghost hunter and his local woods are always great for paranormal exploration and he wants me to see him at work. I suggested I met him at his house then we go to the woods but he insisted it would just be better if I met him in the woods.

Is he playing me? what should I do here? I feel he is legit but I just don't get why he acting so weird.

  • are programming languages easier to learn these days?

Many people in programming tell me programming is not as hard as it used to be to learn due to much of the 'grunt work' being taken out of common programming fundamentals and procedures; something you may have spent a whole afternoon programming on in the 90's for example could be done in a few minutes using today's modified languages. While they are still hard in some languages they are not as hard as they were 40 something years ago and less math is needed.

Would anyone else agree this is indeed the case? I just curious.

  • is drawing Anime easy or hard?

Or hard? or just fairly normal. I have heard its one of the easiest ways to draw people compared to 'normal' regular types of art and people can get the hang of it fairly quickly.

    What do you think?

  • is there a simple way of animating art on your computer?

I have been drawing some characters on my tablet for my computer to save.I have been wondering how you could perhaps animate them if possible in a way if possible which would be the most simple which would allow you NOT to have keep re-drawing each frame as it would take forever if I had to keep erasing and re-drawing a character (which takes about 15 mins each time)

(which takes about 15 mins each time)

Is there any technology like this avaliable which allows you to make animations with different frames of character 'movements' but where you don't have to keep drawing entirely different new pic frames? I doubt it but just asking.

  • Should I quit programming?

I am 37 and I been learning programming for 3 years. I have gotten through Python and am making lots of progress with C++. Within another year I will be confident enough with it.

I have been working park time for these 3 years (in another non IT related job) just to help get by while I get good at my programming. I feel its what I want to do and I really regret not trying it a lot earlier in my life as I could had really used the time to become great in the field and had work while I was young.

I am worried I maybe spending too much time learning it when I could be using the time to get other skills for other types of jobs but I enjoy it and while its true you should do what you enjoy I really don't know if I will actually obtain any work from it due mainly to my age and non-experience in the work field. I really would not want much......just the simpliest little programming job is fine with me no matter how basic and underpaid! but at 37 (or 38) it might be too hard to get work as a programmer when they all want hot shot 21 year old's straight out of Uni.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? please don't answer if you really don't know and just want to give me the gung-ho "age is just a number" nonsense. Sadly IT MATTERS in the workplace!

  • what if you went missing for 15 years without knowing it?

Say you just went to put out the trash one night and when you came back in the house it was 15 years later yet it only felt like you were gone a few seconds. Everyone you know has not seen you in 15 years and yo were declared legally dead and everyone's freaking out that your suddenly back.

  • do I format the drive in this instance?

Its really hard to know what happened but I was cleaning behind my desk and accidentally gently nudged my external hard drive. I didn't think it was a big deal but when I went to open it later it was not reading as connected at all on my computer. It appears to be on as the lights on it are working etc. I tried taking out the USB and putting it back in etc and on other ports. While it seems to reconize another drive being plugged in all I get is this message coming up rather than access to the drive:

"you need to format the disk in drive F: before you can use it. Do you want to format it?"

I am not sure what this is or what to do here I am worried if I format it I may lose all the dats on the external hard drive or is it safe to do so so it can reconize it again? thanks.

    no choice.

  • When guy sniffs a woman's worn panties is he smelling the bum or the vagina?

My boyfriend does this sometimes and although its creepy I never really get an answer why when I ask him the reason for it. He just says lots of guys do it. But why and which part exactly are they trying to smell?

  • is this legal in UK..could my son get in trouble?

So my son turns 18 in 4 months. I saw on his computer he had a few libraries of pornography images of adults which seems ok in my book although he should not really be looking at them but we all know they will anyway.

He seems to be into the whole stripped naked and embarrassed in front of others scenario thing and has other images which some are digital and others are cartoon/anime. Many of the images while not really sexually explicit do feature nudity. One girl who looks under 18 has had her bikini forcefully stripped off herself at a pool and is surrounded by boys just laughing at her. There is numerous pics of this type of theme, there is nudity but its not really 'sexually explicit' as such, but would it not matter anyway with the law? I am trying to find out whats legal and what is not as it seems to be a grey area.

I really can't seem to find a black and white answer on this as its confusing. My son says there legal as he is under 18 and the images depicting persons under 18 are not real and are anime which is true as I have read that it would not be illegal in UK as its deemed a cartoon image even if the characters look under 18. I don't mean they look real young like 9 but around 16.

Should I get him to remove them before he turns 18 so he's not technically breaking the law? or is it not illegal to begin with even if he was 18? I am a little lost.

  • brother not worked in 11 years. How can he fill out his CV?

So my 35 year old cousin who I am close to has been a very unwell person for a lot of his life. He was abused very badly as a child and has been undergoing psychological treatment and help for the past 11 years! (yes I said that correct) they put him on some new medication recently that have been like a godsend and he has been so sooo much better! now he wants to work. This is good only the problem is he has not worked since 2002 and has been on DLA benefit since (this is England) As he is so much better he wants to go off DLA and try and get into some work but the problem is not just the bad economy but the huuuuuge 11 year (nearly 12) year gap in his CV from when he last worked. There's no way he could say he was in another job either for 11 years as they can see payments on your tax reports which the employer would see which would show that.

People tell him to just be honest and tell the truth but the reality of that will not go down well and will probably scare off any interviewer. Its really not an option. Lying is the best bet and lets face it most people lie at least a little in job interviews.

What can he say to a potential interviewer about his huge gap? is saying he was doing voluntry work his best bet?
