I've fallen in love with the language and know a few words, but would like to learn it more thoroughly. How difficult is it to teach yourself, and are there any tactics you would recommend?

Okay. Almost a month ago I started going out with this guy. It's all been pretty good, but something's sorta bothering me.

You see, since we started going out, when my friends find out, I learn that (just within the few months prior) he'd asked a lot of them out. Heck, one twice. And one of them not very long before he asked ME out. Should that bother me as much as it is? Because it seems like he's almost desperate when I look at it like that...

And, something else, these past couple days I've been out sick. Does it seem weird that I haven't heard anything from him but have gotten text upon text from my ex (who is now just a friend) asking if I was okay, but HE hasn't called or anything...

I'm half-hoping you'll all tell me I'm paranoid, but if not, I kinda need help. I don't want to bring it up with my friends because let's face it, no matter how good their intentions are, they'll be biased.
