39 weeks pregnant- strange pulsing?
I'm currently 39 weeks pregnant and have been having braxton hicks contractions for a few months now. They've been getting stronger over the past couple of weeks, but I noticed today my uterus is also pulsing. It's the strangest thing, you can see and feel it. I know it's not braxton hicks contractions, and I know it's not the baby moving- it's a completely different feeling. This is my second pregnancy and I didn't have anything like this with my first. Any idea what it could be?
2 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agomoms/moms to be of 2 or more children- live for the first or die for the second?
When I was younger I was diagnosed with endometriosis. I was told at 16 that I would be lucky to be able to conceive, and even luckier to be able to survive the labor and delivery of a child due to the trauma and risk of hemorrhaging. I had my first daughter 2 1/2 years ago, it wasn't a high risk pregnancy but I did go into shock for a couple minutes after delivering her, but we both survived it fine. I'm currently pregnant with baby # 2 and have been faced with what I thought would be the easiest question to answer, but has turned out to be the most difficult. If it comes down to it, who should they save, me or the baby?
My fiance is not my daughters father, so they would not stay together if something were to happen to me. My daughters father is in the military and currently stationed in Texas, so, unless he agreed to allow someone else to care for her, she wouldn't even remain in the same state and would be forced to not only lose her mother but be torn away from everything she's ever known.
They don't foresee any problems with this one and are confident I'll make it through fine, but it's still a question that beggs to be answered. For first time mom's it's probably one of the easiest decisions, but when you have another little one to consider, what do you do- live for the first one or die for the second?
6 AnswersParenting1 decade agoHow did you feel before your water broke?
I've had a baby before, so I know what it feels like when your water breaks, but when my water broke last time I was already in labor. I've been feeling really crampy for a few months now, but for the past couple of days it's even worse and I have a lot of pressure on my pelvis and in my lower back. I know about the stretching pains, pressure, etc. being normal so I realize it could be nothing, but it makes me curious, did you feel any different or have discomfort unusual to what was normal for your pregnancy in the day(s) before your water broke?
2 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agowhy do people close the questions when the answers are wrong?
I've noticed that there have been multiple people asking the question, 'What would happen if earth stop rotating?'
and every single one of them had the wrong answer, yet it was a resolved question.
who resolves them?
