I bought a smart TV during black Friday, for the hopes of being able to use Netflix on it. When I hooked it (smart tv) up; 7-9ft away from the modem it lagged, like really bad lag; its the the 1080p Netflix NOT the ultrahd, when plugged in it would take 30 seconds to play and then it would buffer again.

My brother's room is in the same room with the modem with his ps4 plugged in with an ethernet cable onto the modem. Theirs 3 cellphones, the mentioned ps4, and my laptop being used with the wifi. My AT&T wifi is of 18Mbps, the TV is now in my room approx. 25-35 ft away from the modem, 3 walls away. (As if the lag was not terrible enough).

My Solution... Buying a powerful router, using one of those free apps to manage the router "Netgear" or something else you can recommend. Regulating the amount of wifi being used by the "other" devices, and getting as much wifi to the smart tv as possible. Then enjoying Neftlix. Is my plan in the least possible???????? Can I do what I'm proposing with the router???

I got a new smart tv during black Friday and couldn't wait to start streaming netflix. However its a lagging piece of crap. The internet is supposed to be 18 mb/s, from AT&T the "AT&T Max Plus", but it sounds a lot better than its performing.

My brother has an ethernet cable plugged to the modem with his ps4, and their are 3 cellphones that are using of the wifi + my laptop + and the non-functioning smart tv.

I was thinking of bying the "Asus Dual-Band Wireless-N600 Gigabit Router" how will this help???? Will my internet not work if its not with the AT&T modem???? I'm not a wifi expert PLEASE HELP!!!!!! I work really hard all week and all I want to do is Netflix and Chill......

I got a pamphlet from Rice University, read through it and saw that it requires the subject tests (had I known this I should have focused on the ACT). I'm running out of time and the Math 1 and 2 seem to intimidating. I have not seeing Chemistry since my sophomore year, I'm good with History and Spanish but the tests have to be (related to what you want to study). Any advice and and recommendation the tests are not until October.

I tried breaking down the cubic equation into factors but it was leading nowhere.

(x(x-5)(x-1))-27

((x-5)(x+1)(x-1))-27

Nothing cancelling...

3 * sin^2 *x = cos^2 *x ;

(0 greater than equal to x less than or equal to 2pi)

The problem is -x^-2 + 9 / x^-1 +3

You flip the negative exponents and you then have x + 9 / -x^2 + 3

The x's, and 9/3 cancel from top and bottom, now having 3/ -x

I think I'm doing steps wrong since its addition and subtraction not multiplication.

The problem is (1/x - 1/5) / (1/x^2 - 1/25)

Since the x^2 and the 25 are perfect squares I factored them.

Now having (1/x - 1/5) / (1/x -1/5) * (1/x + 1/5) and then u cancel the top & bottom ending with 1/ (1/x +1/5)

Can you factor perfect squares even when they're fractions?? The math solver got a different answer than me.

Q #20 on the BB, (page 852) can have an answer of 9.83 + 3pi or the answer on the book which is 10 + 3pi. I got the 9.83 with Pythagorean theorem giving the root 34 (5.89). If you use the radius of the circle its exactly 6, am I making a mistake????

I got my AP Scores back and lets just say I'm not pleased >.< . I got a 3 on : AP European History (only one semester in course), US History (really disappointed but I blame it on the new format), Statistics (it pulled a lot from what we learned in the beginning), and English and Composition (nothing to add). I also got a 2 on AP Environmental (without ever being in the class or studying), a 2 on AP Spanish Lit ( I could've passed had I actually tried the essays lol). And a fking 1 on Physics 1, blame it on the teacher who thinks we are grad students and has everybody lost when he is lecturing. My last year scores were 3 on Bio and World and 5 on Spanish Lang.
