I was on Seasonique for over a year, and I hated it, I had breakthrough bleeding almost constantly. I changed from that to Ortho-Tricylcen Lo at the beginning of this month with no break in the usage (other than the inactives at the end of my last pack). About two weeks ago, I had a little bit of very minor spotting for one or two days, I didn't really pay attention because I'm used to spotting on birth control. However, four days into my inactive pills on the new pill, and still no sign of a period. Is it normal to miss a period when switching pills? I know when one method has a higher dose of hormones, when changing to a pill with a lower dose you can miss periods, but both are considered low-dose hormones.

My husband and I recently adopted/rescued a one-and-a-half year old mini schnauzer. She is friendly, and not at all aggressive, and well-behaved but for one major caveat: it would appear that her previous owners made no efforts to house train her, and she defecates whenever and wherever she feels like it. We have started trying to train her much like we would a puppy, taking her outside every hour and praising her for eliminating outside, taking her outside when she appears to be sniffing around, etc. Is it possible to house train a dog of this age who already has deeply ingrained bad habits?

My husband and I want to have a custom photo mat made with space for 30 individual tickets (one for each team) but currently don't have any tickets on hand. We need to know the dimensions so we can have appropriately sized holes cut into the mat. Anyone have one handy that they can measure?

She's not eating normally, either. She's had all of her shots and everything is up-to-date, what could be causing this and after how long should I be worried?

i.e. if she's still doing it tomorrow, should I take her to the vet, or should I wait and see?
