I'm finding out way too many things about my relatives that I would rather not know......

One of the ladies even has a phobia of cats. Any way, last week my dog had a really messed up tummy (took her to the vet - she's all better now), and I was so worried about her I didn't feel I could concentrate on my work. I ended up calling in sick saying it was ME who was sick. Was that the right thing to do? They probably would have made fun of me for caring so much about an animal. I really need a new job!

I work in an office where most of the children are Medicaid recipients. Most of the children are lovely, but their parents are holy terrors.(Blaming me for when they are late, they lost their child's script, etc etc) I don't know why, but they want us to do EVERY thing for them. (The majority do not work) I want to make a sign up and put in my office with a slogan. Any ideas? Something to the effect of "He who helps himself is very wise". (Only better)THANKS!

I had a male ruby throat(?) come visit me for a couple of days and drink out of a feeder in early April and after he left I got discouraged and took all my feeders down. I just put them back up again. I hope I'm not too late.
