  • How often should I oil my clarinet?

    I have a Buffet E-13 clarinet. None of the teacher's I've had in the past ever touched on this and I was wondering.

    I have never oiled the bore of the instrument. (It is about 10 years old now) How often should this be done and how do I do it without ruining the pads?
