  • Dog is extremely anxious?

I have a year and a half old blue heeler (cattle dog)/chow mix that I adopted from a rescue shelter a few months ago, and lately his personality has changed a ton. He seems almost scared of me and my roommate, constantly walks around with his tail between his legs and head down. When he approaches me, he's either overly cuddly and leaning up against me, or extremely shy and seems almost ashamed. I've never hit him, taunted him or anything of the sorts, maybe once he's been in the room when I've gotten mad at the TV over sports and yelled or such. He's incredibly smart, still pays attention when doing tricks and such, but besides that, he seems extremely submissive and scared. From time to time, he'll submissively pee and he rolls onto his back all the time.

I live in a big city and usually take him to the dog park every other day. He's never been bullied or had any dogs bite him or scare him off, but I'm thinking that based on his breed, lack of exercise/mental stimulation might have something to do with it. I'm a bit concerned and want to help my pal out, so please leave any suggestions you have. They're greatly appreciated!

  • Who should I vote for?

I'm a college student who has never had any interest in learning about politics until now, my first eligible election. My parents are hardcore conservatives, and I live in Chicago aka Obamaland. I can't find anywhere online that educates me about the issues without an opinion or a way to understand practically, and I'm really interested. I've given up on the fact that I'll learn from anyone completely unbiased, so I'd like to ask each and every one of you who reads this to tell me who you're leaning towards, what issues you care about, and why. I'd really appreciate any suggestions for reading as well. Thank you in advance.

  • Weight/Mass Supplements for College Student?

I am a college student living in a big city, and I'm trying to gain weight over the summer. I'm very tall and skinny, and unfortunately my eating habits don't help me much in getting to my goal - I eat one big meal a day and have small snacks occasionally. Unfortunately, my financial situation doesn't help me much either, since I really only have the money to eat one meal a day. I've been looking into getting a weight mass supplement or some kind of supplement to help me gain weight and pack more protein in my diet - can anyone suggest anything that would help me? I've never really taken any of these before and I'm not sure if drinking a protein shake would help if I'm not eating much at all as it is. Thanks in advance for your help!

  • How to make Korean Red Ginseng Tea?

I was given a Cheong Kwan Jang Korean Red Ginseng tea set as a gift from my Korean friends a while ago, and tonight decided I'd try it out. Only problem is, I don't speak Korean and don't know how to prepare a cup. The set came with a box of Cheong Kwan Jang Korean Red Ginseng Tea, Cheong Kwan Jang Korean Red Ginseng Extract Powder Tea, and two jars of this dark liquidy jelly stuff that is very bitter, with a small spoon that I guess is for the jelly stuff. The boxes say 3g x 20 and jars are 6 something and 100 g. If anyone could explain this to me it would be incredible, as I hear this tea is great for you and I'm really hoping to try it out.

    Thank you in advance!

  • Autographed baseball help?

I recently found a baseball that I've had sitting around for about ten years that is signed by the entire 1954 Indians team. I don't have a certificate of authentication, but now that I know what it is, I want to preserve it, find a way to authenticate it and most likely sell it in the future.

What are the best ways to take care of an autographed ball, and how can I get it authenticated? New York City isn't too far from me, and I'd prefer to keep it with me rather than send it in a box somewhere to get authenticated, if possible.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Spring Semester off Ideas?

I'm a musician looking to take next semester off of school. my first year and a half has been cool, but they don't have the major I want here and I really want to pursue a solo career in music. however, my parents won't let me take time off unless I have a "structured plan" for next semester, where the four months out of school won't be spent with me sleeping till noon every day and playing video games all day. I am running a little short on time, since I really only have two weeks to figure something out, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all so much in advance.

  • Music/Business Colleges in Boston - Transferring?

I am currently a first semester sophomore in college, looking to transfer to a Music Business/Music Industry program in Boston. Berklee is out of the question right now, and I have been looking at Northeastern. However, I'm looking for cheaper options - still stay in Boston or fairly close, and major in music business or something similar to that field. I am hoping to transfer this spring.

Any feedback or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

I got Bose Companion 5 computer speakers about a year ago, and I love them. Only, I just got an MBox 2 Mini and I can't afford to buy monitors right now. Is there a way I could play back the Pro tools audio through the Bose Speakers? They are USB speakers. Thanks

  • pitching mechanics?

I am 6'4 and have good velocity and good command. i throw a 75-85 mph fastball (havent really used a gun), a hard curveball, slider, tailing fastball, and a changeup. I love to experiment with new pitches such as a knuckleball and splitter. however, i have had shoulder problems recently which i think is from poor mechanics. any tips would be great. thanks.
