Did anyone see the Today Show this morning? They had a segment on choosing your vet. Dr, Louise Murray has written a book called "Vet Confidential." She made some very good points about interviewing your vet to be sure that they are practicing high quality medicine. I thought it was a great segment because I find that most pet owners think that all vets are alike. The worst is when someone does not understand why a $200 spay is better than a $50...often the cheaper places don't use balanced anesthesia or monitoring.

Does your vet discuss personalized and rotating vaccine schedules with you? Do they recommend getting every vaccine every year, or do they do a different vaccine every year?

Our clinic is in the middle of changing our vaccination protocols to be closer to the vaccine recommendations of the AVMA. This means, once a dog is 3 or 4, we start giving the DHPP every 3 years, the rabies every 3 years, bordatella intranasal every 6 months, lepto (based on lifestyle) every year, and lyme (based on life style) every year.

I am presenting a lecture and need to get a video of a couple of videos off of youtube to put a powerpoint presentation. The videos I am planning on using are not copywrite protected. How can I download the videos to place into the presentation?
