The State of Wisconsin had open enrollment from 02/04/2009 to 02/20/2009. My question is, can I open enroll my children in the neighboring school district during the summer months or is it only allowed during the above specified timeframe?

My kids are currently enrolled in a private school in the neighboring community, however, due to some major changes, we are not sending them back to that school this year. In addition, for many reasons I will not send my kids to our local school district.

Is my only option at this point to look for another private school?

Honestly, I've been asked this at least 4 times. I'm not in any way overweight, in fact, I'm 5'4" and weigh 115 pounds. My stomach does stick out but only slightly. I have 3 children and one of them weighed 11 pounds at birth. In addition, I have diastasis recti (medical words for separated stomach muscles). I wish I could have this repaired, however, insurance doesn't cover it because it's "cosmetic". For a number of reasons, you never ask this question of a woman. I once heard this asked of someone else, and she had just lost her baby!!!! I'd love to have a good come back to this question.Suggestions?
