Audio/Sound Driver for Windows 7 Ultimate?
I have an HP Compaq 8510w that came with Windows Vista on it, but I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate. The problem is that the speakers do not work. I ran into this problem with one of my other computers, but the driver that I used for that computer does not work for this one. I need recommendations on any sound drivers that are compatible that have worked for other people that have had this problem in the past.

I have a right triangle with all three sides. I just need someone/some people to verify that I have calculated the correct angles.
Side 1 = 25 feet
Side 2 = 12 feet
Hypotenuse = 27.73 feet
Angles (in no particular order) = 25.64 degrees, 64.36 degrees, and 90 degrees

4 AnswersEngineering1 decade agoEquation for axial deformation?
I need to develop an equation in terms of q, L, x, A, and E.
E is the modulus of elasticity, A is the cross sectional area, x is an arbitrary point on the x axis, q is a uniform distributed axial loading, and L is the length of a cantilever beam.
The equation will describe the variation in axial deformation along the length of the axial rod.

I have a simply supported beam with a pin on one end and a roller on the other. The length of the beam is 25 feet. If there is a moment of 30 kips/ft at each support going clockwise, what does the shear and moment diagrams look like?
1 AnswerEngineering1 decade agoFind modulus of elasticity (Young's Modulus)?
The modulus of elasticity, E, is equal to stress divided by strain. If an aluminum specimen is pulled so that there is only stress in the x direction, and there are multiple points at different degrees (0, 90, 158, 62, 116) on the specimen where strain is measured, would the modulus of elasticity be found by stress divided by the strain measured at 0 degrees (x direction)?
2 AnswersEngineering1 decade agoHow to calculate strain?
I have a reference load of 2000 lbs, and I used a program that graphed the reference load vs. strain in an experiment. I took a trendline of the graph to get the slope. Now, how can I use the reference load and the trendline slope to find strain?
