  • F-250 spark plug broke in head?

    I have a 06 F-250 5.4l with the newer high thread spark plugs and one has broken off in the head. The threads came out fine but the plug sperated and the lower portion remained in head. I believe it is carboned in. I have soaked with penetrating oil and ran engine with the hopes that compression would blow out broken piece, but to no avail. Any ideas short of engine disassembly would be greatly appreciated.

  • Ford F-250 spark plug broke in head?

    I have an 06 5.4l with the newer "HT1" (high thread) spark plugs. I have broken one off in head, threads came out fine but the lower portion of plug seperated and remained in head. Any idea's short of dissassembly for removing? So far I have soaked with penetrating oil and ran engine with the hopes that broken piece would blow out from compression, to no avail. I will attempt this again in morning but am not very confident. HELP!!!
