French question?
So I was watching this video and the guy in it was speaking French and he said, "je rigole plus la" and in the captions, it was translated as "I'm not joking". Why? "plus means more and I thought "la" basically just meant "the" so...?

I was studying my Italian workbook and I noticed it translated "I can't see you" as "Non chi vedo". I thought "chi" only meant "who"? I'm confused. Can someone explain why you wouldn't say "Non ti vedo"?

I am a pre-service ESL teacher and today I am meeting with a fifth grade Mexican ESL student to assess her English skills. I have been told already that her English is very limited but I still need to assess her as a part of an assignment. I want to let her know that I just want how her English skills are and that the assessment I am doing isn't for any kind of grade. I don't want her to be nervous. So how do I say these things in Spanish? Could I say something like, "Quiero conocer tu nivel de ingles. No es para un grado. No estes nerviosa."? My Spanish isn't the best so if someone could help me that would be awesome.
