Why are bosses and owners of large companies so out of tune with the shop floor worker.?
They "THINK" we are "VALUABLE ASETS" but assets are something you own and I consider my self a "RESOURCE" which is something you can gain value from!
What do you think as a worker?

I am looking for the stupidest email you have ever received.
Cut and paste if you want, and try to avoid any names of people or companies, but do describe the author the situation and the audience.
3 AnswersCorporations1 decade agoDo u think this is underhanded?
I have an abusive boss and I enacted revenge as follows.
I don't care if he finds out as he abuses a lot of people.
I made up a resume using his name address and as many particulars as I could that were accurate. In the context of the resume I hid small subtle character flaws that would stand out in the event that someone was astute enough to read between the lines. I posted his resume on several high profile executive job sites and happened to send a link to members of the board and the executive staff.
I think he is in the process of squirming on this one.
3 AnswersCorporations1 decade agoMotor Meltdown What could have caused it?
have a major issue!
Purchased a 1982 26' carver with a 260 mercruiser engine.
The engine block was replaced 2 years ago, apparently a cracked block.
Previous owner claimed he drove the boat for 8 hours after the block was replaced with no issue.
My first lauch this occurred.
Boat launched outdrive lowered.
Engine started (quite easily)
I revved to about 2000 rpm
within approximately 5 minutes I smelt an odor
Opened the engine cover and nearly ****!
Looked like smoke coming out of the air breather.
I left it idle removed air breather and steam was coming out of
both hoses which go from rocker cover to carb. Much steam.
The starboard exhaust port melted the elbow and popped two of the 4
S.S strap clamps. The exhaust elbow severely deformed.
On the same side (Starboard) a milky substance (oil & water) was coming
out somewhere underneath the exhaust manifold.
The boat ran for about 8 minutes and when I shut it off it made some very
rude sounds while cooling. The sound of metal contracting from being heated.
I checked the dip stick and water was evident in the oil.
Any ideas as to what may have happened? Impeller not functioning/ thermostat shut closed/ blown headgasket?
I am looking for adivice on what to look for and where to start on repair.
The boat sat in outside storage for approximately 2 years.
I did test run with outdrive muffs on but really only to ensure it turned over and started, maybe 5-6 seconds.
Thanks for any advice you may have.
6 AnswersBoats & Boating1 decade agoSpeed on a dinghy?
I am looking at buying a 7.5' dinghy (titan) inflatable keel.
With the dinghy comes a 2 stroke 6 H.P Johnson motor.
The total load in the boat will be about 500 lbs. 2 occupants
gas gear and some cargo. If the weight is evenly distributed what sort of speed can I get? I am traveling a fair distance up a river with strong current and do not want to underpower the boat. Is this HP sufficient, the boat is only rated for a 5 HP max.
2 AnswersBoats & Boating1 decade agoExhausting of a generator?
I have a 2 stroke 2 H.P 1000 watt generator (genmate).
I wan to operate it in the engine compartment of my 26 ft boat.
The exhaust port is a small diamter maybe 3/4 ".
If I connect a metal flex pipe with pipe strap and increase the diameter directly behind that connection my thought is to connect it to the bilge vent pipe while I'm stationary and using the generator. Does anyone see this as a problem with carbon monoxide or any other potential issues.
The other option is to just run it on the swim platform but I'm trying to avoid the noise.
6 AnswersBoats & Boating1 decade agoWhat percentage of relationships remain pure?
It seems there are many people who believe their relationships are very pure and that their spouses do not wander or even have the yearn to wander. When I speak with men they seem to realize that there is a high percentage of infidelity, women on the other don't believe it to be that high. Its almost a "NOT MY JOHNNY" syndrome.
My question what percenatge of marriages remain pure with no extra marrital affairs ever taking place?
Which is the more likely sex to initiate this activity?
5 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoWhy do women use sex as a bargaining chip?
I read some of the questions and answers here on love sex and relationships and wonder if women really understand men? Or do they forget what brought them together in the first place.
They use sex as a bargaining chip to get what they want or not have sex and use it as punishment.
I think many are so consumed in their own selfishness that they overlook the primal requirements of good old fashioned sex.
Why do they use sex as a tool?
what do you think?
16 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoNo Guilt ! Why?
I have been married for 25 years. Sex is becoming more infrequent and far less intense with spouse. I am extremely aroused most of the time. I have met several women over the years for sex and have been committed to those women for a brief period of time. I enjoy the romance, I enjoy the stimulation of a new lover and continue to do it. I have no guilt, I love my wife, I cherish her, but with no sex I'm miserable!
The women I engage with are all married as well and we share much the same challenges.
No guilt why?
26 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoDo I need a degree to be successful?
I have been working in operations for twenty years with increasingly more prominent positions! Currently I am a V.P but with no tirtiary degree. Recently applied for a C.O.O job but many tell me I'm lucky to be where I am with no degree. BTW they all have degrees.
