Hey All! So Here's my situation. My fiance and I moved into an apartment a few years back. It is a 1 bedroom with an upstairs enclosed bedroom. The landlord promised us that they were in the process of installing a heater to heat the upstairs part of the apartment. Well 3 years later we are still not able to sleep up there unless we use an electric heater. Heat and hot water are included in the price of the rent. There is no thermostat in the apartment anywhere for us to view the temp. We had to buy an electric heater to heat the place because they have 2 1ft cast iron heaters in the entire apartment. Every single night when we come home it is 60 degrees and never warmer. We live in New York btw so it's been REALLY COLD OUT LATELY! Just wondering if anyone has any advice as to what tenant rights are on these issues. Any help would be great! Thanks!

Hi All! I think my landlord is stealing electricity. We are set up on different meters so that we each have our own bill. If I can prove it what do you think the penalties could be? Is it even worth making a big deal or should i just get the hell outta there?

I was recommended by my local aquatic retailer to try using Chemi-Pure (5oz half unit as my tank is only 20 gallons) because I have been having problems with my water being cloudy and my Ph constantly dropping. I followed all directions given including "rinsing the bag lightly before putting in the filter" and now my water is a charcoal color! My fish seem to be doing alright but is this normal? Will it clear up quickly? I have baby mollies in there and I'm concerned for them now. Please help!

Ok, so I have an ich problem. I bought 2 balloon rams last weekend and the very next day I noticed that they both had a couple of small white spots on them. Now they have full blown ich. I have had this problem in the past and find that NONE of the products that these so called professionals recommend are working to get rid of this. I have quarantined the fish in a smaller tank and treated them with Copper Safe b/c every pet store owner is telling me that it works best. I have used it in the past with poor results. Does anyone know of anything else I can do to rid this problem. I have the temperature up to 82 degrees as well b/c I was told this helps too.

It was some kind of horror or thriller movies and I saw it on TV when I was a kid. So we are talking at least 20 years ago. The only scene I remember is a young boy is calling for either his grandma or grandpa in the house and he goes into a bedroom. I believe he then sees a figure in the bed and goes to get into bed with them. But the bed then turns into a whirlpool and sucks him into it. I know this may sound crazy, but I could swear I saw it. I remember it so vividly.

What I mean is...I know there are a lot of orchestras that cover classic rock tunes. Can anybody give me some names of any really good ones to listen too? (i.e. Trans Siberian Orchestra- but no Christmas tunes) Thanks in a advance!
