After I did some work behind the stereo my 4 channel amp keeps blowing its fuse. Not the main power wire fuse but the one on the amp. It's an Audiobahn A6004T amp. I have 2 amps in the car. One 2 channel amp and one 4 channel. I have 1 power wire and 1 ground wire and then a splitter going to each amp. Same with the feed wire. 1 wire and then a splitter to the amps. The 2 channel amp is still working fine. I've had the amps in the car for about 2-3 weeks with no problems.
I took the stereo half way out but I didn't disconnect anything except the stereo ground wire. When I did that I heard the amps powerup even though the key was off. When I finished and turned on the stereo the amp fuse was blown. I put a new fuse in and it would blow when the stereo turns on. I checked the feed wire for a short and it was good. Amp power/ground is good. Remember the second amp is still working and I didn't mess with the amp wires.
I heard its common for Audiobahns to blow.
