Shaun Hill vs the Rams or Orton vs Ravens?

Orton has been solid and their off throws 40 times a game which is great, i'm just not sure bout how many TDs they're going to have. On the other hand, Shaun Hill hasn't look so bad and he has a great matchup for a game that should be a shootout.

I built some furniture, painted it and waited a week to let the paint cure. I just put on some paste wax and i've tried buffing the hell outta it but it wont get shiny. It still looks dull and I can even see all sorts of lines on the surface now, it looks duller and worse than before I put the wax on.

So what's my problem? Clearly I'm doing something wrong. I've tried paper towels, cheese cloth, and a clean tshirt to buff and none are really helping. Is it the material i'm using? Or, is it that I just need to put a little more elbow grease into and keep going?

This could make or break my weak. I'm 3-0 so far, can't afford to lose this cause of an injury. Right now, i'm leaning towards Crabtree, he's a bust so far but figure he has more upside. Ivory seems ok b/c i'm sure he'll get the goal line carries and will probably push in for a TD, but thats a big IF. He's not starting and i'm not sure how many carries he'll get. Morris is probably the worst of the three, I have no idea how Best will do and their up against the packers.

Ladell Betts - if I wanna go for the guy carrying the ball more in NO, but w/ a bum knee and no goal line carries

I want to use my laptop as a karaoke system. I think my computer def has great audio output and I have a nice speaker system so as long as I get some good karaoke software and a good enough microphone I should be good to go.

Any suggestions on karaoke software and microphone for a computer?

The paint I used says wait 7 days before washing the surface, but I don't really need to wash it. Can I put on wax finish before then or should I wait a week?

It's 60$, which is way too much for that, I know I can build two of them for aout 30-35$. I've built furniture before , but never anything with lighting and I'm not exactly sure what the best way to go about it is.

What's the best type of socket to put on this thing? I've found ones that turn on with a twist switch under the socket, as well as ones where the switch is further down on the wire. Both of those are ok, but if its a standard cord I need to find a way to hide the cord. I can run it down one of the corners, but i'm wondering if there might be a better way?

I just built two end tables and a coffee table from some 2 by 4s and plywood. Used some wood putty to fil in the cracks, sanded it down, used one coat of primer, and three coats of black valspar oil based paint.

It looks great but i'm not sure how I should finish it? Some articles suggest paste wax and others suggest polyurethane coating.

I'm not sure I want to use polyurethane b/c I don't want the paint brush lines on the finish, I want it to look smooth. I assume wax will look nicer, but i'm worried if someone doesn't use a coaster with, say, a hot cup of tea then it will ruin the wax coating.

Anyways, looking for suggestions/tips.

I'm building a contemporary style coffee table, like the one I've posted below.

I'm using 2 by 4s and 1/4" thick paneling to make the coffee table to make the top/bottom/sides and then used strong wood glue to put it together. It looks fine, but I really want to get a smooth finish on all sides.

I thought bout using wood tape, wood putty, or wood filler; but, i'm not really sure if i should use a combination of them to get the best result. Imagine a roughly put together table that you wanted to turn into that picture above. How do i get that smooth finish on all sides?

I tried to add Brandon Jackson to my roster Mon at 3am (i'm positive i was first in my league). He was a FA at the time, but it says the trade wont be processed until Wed at 3am b/c he has to pass waivers. I thought waiver wire only dealt with players dropped from another team not FAs. What's the deal?

I play on ESPN. I'm pretty sure we use the standard waiver wire rules.

I got Mario Manningham, Eddie Royal, Chris Henry, and Justin Gage to choose my 3rd WR.

But I got proposed a trade, Hines ward for Manningham, Henry, Gage.

ward is a solid #3 and thats all i need, still got eddie as a backup. but is that giving up too much? do any of these guys have more potential than ward at #3?

Saints have poor D, but its the Lions and its a rookie. i'm leaning towards saints b/c i'm assuming the lions play it conservatively and stafford is unlikely to have a huge first day in the nfl.

I got 4 solid RBs. Adrian Peterson, Jamal Lewis, Willie Parker, and Tim Hightower. I only have iff WRs in Muhsin M, Steve Breaston, and Mark Bradley.

Someone has offered me Donald Driver for Willie. Def not an equal trade, but it's time to get ready for playoffs and a RB on the bench does me no good.

Do I make the Willie Parker for Driver trade?

Both look like they'll have solid games. who's the better pick?
