how long does a person have to wait if all parties have agreed to a settlement sum and a full and final release has been signed to receive the settlement check,we are dealing with the Insurance Lawyer for the Attorney General.This is in Canada.

all party's have agreed to a verbal settlement upon a agreed sum,what will happen now and what should i expect to happen next?,this personal injury lawsuit is between me and the government of Ontario.How long do you think i will have to wait to see any settlement money?

I keep getting this balloon popping up and saying this: Windows corrupt file- the file or directory C:\System volume information \restore{7D6C09AF-2640-4BSE-84AB-13FE03D1E781\RP84 is corrupt and un readable,please run the chksdk utility. how do i run chkdsk utility? this problem just started after i turned off my computer and then later i turned it on and the problem started,any help please i just put in a new hard drive a month ago 80 GB's.

I recently received a letter claiming i owed 1600.71 from a krazy kelly's type place where i bought a tv and vcr under loan payments for two years ,well i missed a couple of payments and they hounded me to no end so i took the tv and vcr back and low and behold 6 months later they went under. I then received a letter in the mail a couple of months later thanking me for my patronage and they were sad to see me stop using their services,so now it's [get this ]20 years later this was in 1989.their collection company [Aktiv Kapital]use to be wells fargo union.20 years ago ,i can't believe it!! well, i called the number on the letter and told the guy on the phone what i did back then and told him i don't think i'm responsible now because i returned the tv and vcr and in perfect condition!He said that doesn't matter I still owe the money because of the contract being signed.I believe I should not pay because I return the products and received a receipt saying so. what should i do?please be nice ,i don't think i'm in the wrong!

i was wondering how long i would have to wait for settlement if both lawyers agreed to settle out of court,the discovery meeting was on may 9/08,my lawyer sent all information requested by opposing lawyer in june of 2008 and i haven't heard anything since,i called and emailed my lawyer in january 09[this year] but i have yet to hear from him as well,on may 9/ 09 this year should i go to court house clerk and file a motion to have my case put on calender?this case started in 1999 and it is a sulphuric acid gassing injury and it will be 10 years,stuck and confused on how to proceed,please give reasonable answers thank you.

I am about to settle personal injury lawsuit against city jail,i am on disability 8 years after the accident ,i have been on ODSP for the last 10 months,the lawsuit has been on- going for the last 8 years, my question is, if i settle with the government of Ont,will I, i have too pay back the ODSP - money they give me for being disabled or will it be free and clear.
