  • elections information categorized by gender and age?

    I have been fruitless in my efforts to find elections statistics in commonwealth countries, and I need some help and/or suggestions on where to get started. I need elections information categorized by gender and age-group. Extra categories are gladly accepted.

    Here are examples of the kinds of information I need:

    (these are not actual facts, they are just examples of the kinds of information I need)

    In the past Canadian Election, 30% of females voted for

    In the past Australian Election, 80% of male voters aged 40-50 voted for the X party, and 15% voted for the Y party, etc.

    Are there any good databases that would provide me with such information? I have tried Elections Canada and Statistics Canada for such data for the Canadian elections, but they do not provide such stats.
