Working on an assignment where the main goal is to restructure a messy table into a batch of cleaner tables. To ensure that the splitting worked, we were given descriptions for queries we were to perform, but an issue I am having is how to:

List the contents of multiple rows if and only if the value in column x is found in any other row in the same column.

It cannot output the row if there aren't more rows where the value in column x matches.

I figure it would be easier with subqueries or something. Easiest way I can think of would be doing something like:

SELECT * FROM table_name WHERE 1 > (SELECT count(*) from table_name where subquery.column_x = parent_query.columnx)

So, similar to a nested loop.

But, I have no clue how to have a subquery reference the parent query.

A solution for the main problem, whether it is similar to my idea or not would be appreciated.

I have tiny bright red specks on my upper arms and legs. They are slightly smaller than my freckles and do not itch.

It seems like more are slowly appearing, and they have been visible for quite a while.

My skin doesn't seem very dry.

Anyone have any ideas?

I am interested in both fields, and am wondering which would be a better choice to pursue. I've spent years on computers and games, and have been constantly learning and loving.

The Computer Science degree offered at the college I am enrolled in seems very general, but covers quite a bit.

The Game Design and Development degree focuses on programming, but gives a bit of coverage with modeling, animation, networks, and a few other small bits.

Which would be the one where I would be more likely to land a reliable job not too long after leaving college?

(I am not going to a "top of the line" college, so I wouldn't expect to get a position in any of the huge companies out there.)

Which would be a more enjoyable job?

(I would be fine with the idea of sitting in a room for 10+ hours a day staring at a screen of code, constantly having to rewrite it and make changes.)

Seriously, Yahoo provides a great searching service, but many of you if not most run to Google to research your answers or just do general queries.

Why are you people letting Google dominate the world?

I am wanting to try and make a song similar to the introduction music of Metroid Prime 2, and I have a program called Reaper, that is compatible with different plug-ins such as VST and and Direct-X.

What kind of instruments or effects would I be needing to look for to make something like this, and any direct links to a download to get the instruments or effects would be great.

I was wondering as to if there is a way to get it so I have registries on a flash drive and could install a program onto the flash drive that will read and run off those registries rather than the registries on the computer itself. If it is possible, could you help find some page that explains how to, or some program that helps with it.

How do I network a Suse installed machine with other computers, specifically Red hat Linux?

This is for a school project, and I can't find any pages that tell how to network a Suse to other computers except how to use a printer.

Alright, here's the issue, trying to design a page, but I am having issues with it displaying the same in different browsers.

Views perfectly in Internet Explorer 7/8 (good ol' IE), but for some reason Firefox (So many issues come up with this browser >_>) views the menu images and strips, and I have heard it views even worse in Safari.

If someone could possibly provide assistance, it would be appreciated, normally I could care less about FF, but it's for a friend's site.

I have it set so it can display different content (IE 6 views them as links, but positioning needs to be fixed), so completely changing large portions of the code would be accepted, just as long as it views how it is in IE7.

Everytime I try to do a search, it takes me to monster.com under the same search, and I have to hit back every time just to see the page I was wanting to see.

I get popups and an icon on my start bar for it advertising a spyware removal program that looks like something that does the opposite of what it says.

My virus scanners ad anti-spyware programs are unable to remove it, what can I do to fix this other than use system restore or reformatting the hard-drive?

I don't mean just the background, I mean the whole theme including the icons, the application borders, the start menu, the background, and anything included in a desktop theme.

And I want to make it so others can download it and install it without having to get any extra programs to have it.

Which should I use? Please tell me about free ones if you can, but paid ones also if you know any that are good.
